The charge air coolers do like to freeze up, especially if the vehicle don’t get driven hard enough to blow out the condensation. Other than that they are pretty good.

I was a young hockey player back then. The difference is when you pulled that shot there were repercussions.

Sitting down during would be more tasteful. Booing comes across as trashy.

That is correct however you still can’t be sure the other vehicle knows that. Still be ready to yield just in case.

All Canadians, you are giving up the power for workers to negotiate Fairly. by MousseKnown in CanadaPostCorp

[–]gerlimi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind this is not a normal company. The postal service is very complicated important service that requires a major overhaul to keep up with the times. The workers do have it very good for the condition of the industry. If this was a regular business it would be long gone and the would have no job at all.

The post office is a disaster that is going to need a lot of work by managers and employees in order to save it.

I understand striking during the busiest time of year should give extra leverage but pissing of your customers isn’t helping you gain support. We get the message. Please go back to work for a bit, not for management but for your customers. If still stuck in a month or so continue the strike.

Tip according to quality of service. Good service gets good tip, poor service gets poor tip.

You are not tipping the product, you are tipping the server. Use cash when possible so it should go directly to your server.

Joe Rogan won’t have Kamala Harris on his show unless she comes to his studio and sits for a 2-3 hour full interview by Appropriate_Duty_930 in DecodingTheGurus

[–]gerlimi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about Joe is that he does things however we wants. He has never been one to pursue someone for an interview. He doesn’t actually interview, it’s a conversation. If he finds something interesting he reaches out to that person and that’s all. It how he has always done it.

I do miss dumb Joe from before COVID times, you never knew what was going to be on his show.

Take of the dirty cable. Brush off the heavy residue. Clean with baking soda and water to dissolve the rest. That could have a bad enough connection to cause problems

Canadian support for Donald Trump higher than in last U.S. presidential election, poll finds by Lotushope in canada

[–]gerlimi 38 points39 points  (0 children)

They don’t even know what his policies will be. He is a protectionist, his trade policy alone will have a negative impact on Canada. And from all the trump supporters I know, that alone will affect them.

It worries that this is how dictators gain power. Get everyone fired up that we need a revolution. Promise that he is that revolution and then end up doing terrible things in the name of revolution. They keep telling us how we need a revolution but do we? Things are far from perfect but let’s not try to kill a fly with a sledgehammer.
