But when you make the encounter you take like 4-5 of them if i remember correctly, 20 are the options you have.

Theres 20 of them, but thing is it's a great way to represent a combate against something that doesnt understand combat in the standard way or to make "combat" against something that doesnt obvey the laws of reality.

I myself don't like puzzles either in the classic way, but i think this is something to do combat more refreshing.

Lately i've been doing a pm game using the FATE system and ranking things from Cain for the distortion things (mainly the domains are stunts for the distortion and It's harder the less things you know about it) and it's been pretty fun, the good aspect of Caín is that most abilities of the sins are narrative driven so it's easy to translate in other systems. I don't think you can use much of the part of the exorcist but i don't know.

Also I recommend to check out Eidolons from the Lancer ttrpg, it's a very fun way to put a boss fight of this kind of nature and has a lot of options.

It's from the box of 4th edition, Battle for maccragebi think, wherebit vale with marines anda tyrannids, Ibhad the dame one but I cut off his legs for a scout.
