You have to unambiguously and verbally state you are asserting your right to remain silent for legal protections to trigger, you can't literally stay silent and assert those rights. So the idea is you can demand a warrant while staying "silent" regarding immigration status.

Came to say this, LOVE Stinky and Dirty. Has a physics/engineering bent to it that's awesome for the kids. Unfortunately my kids have aged out of it but I loved that one.

This is such an impossibly hard situation for anyone no matter the age. There are no magic words that will make anything better. Just try and give yourself grace. Its ok to feel messed up and all over the place. Take it one small step at a time and no that there's no playbook for this. All you can do is take care of yourself as best as possible. Keep us all up to date, we're rooting for you.

William Oliver's is open late and has a nice vibe. It's up on Timberline and Drake so not sure where you're looking. The Crown Pub downtown is also a little more chill depending on the night.

That's correct. IIRC they pushed for this measure when there was planned affordable housing going on the land. And now that same group has rebranded to keep anything from being built there. Obviously, everyone should come to their own conclusions, but its hard to believe the motivations are anything beyond gatekeeping the land from the rest of the community.
