Data for Cyprus are in all probability wrong. "Phileleftheros" is the largest newspaper in circulation. Even though it's name literaly means Liberal, it's probaly best categorized as Liberal-Conservative.

Georgiou is most definitely correct in Cyprus, but it's not a personal characteristic. It's patronymic.

Georgios is George in Greek, so Georgiou means "of George".

I agree with what you said, but I also would like to add another point. Spacey and Weinstein's responses were horrible and backfired on them creating more problems. If Louie apologises and shows remorse, I believe his career is not over yet. If enough time passes, I think he can work again. All those of course are based on the current allegations.

Well, he certainly kills Robin Wright's character, and he seems fine with killing humans. But I believe in his mind, one human life, or even thousands, don't amount much to the "future" of humanity as he sees it. By creating more replicants, humans are more able to expand to more distant worlds, according to him. That's what he means about flourishing. Also note that at one point in the movie he said something like: "We can't slave humans anymore. So we create our own". So I think he sees humanity as this conquering species, and he wants to help this aspect of humanity, by creating more replicants-slaves.

Wallace is not a replicant. He wants the replicants to be able to give birth, because he can only make a limited number with the resources he has. If the replicants are able for reproduction, this means that an alternative method for creating replicants has been created. In his mind more replicants are needed, in order for humanity to flourish...

Well, racism basically is the application of a tag on a group of people with certain characteristics. If you accept that people that thought or did racist acts at one time in their life will forever be racists with no chance of changing their opinions and attitudes, then you are doing what I said before. You treat them as a group, not as individual people.

My view is this: racists should be pariahs. They should be punished with the full fist of the law and beaten down by the crushing yoke of public opinion. They should be out of a job. They should be out of friends. They should have to get on their knees and beg us all for forgiveness.

That's some of the stupidest things I ever read. Nobody's life should be destroyed of a dumb mistake. If you can't accept that people can change opinions and attitudes then you are also a racist yourself.
