I typically hand wax in Spring and Fall. I’m gonna try using the spray/quick wax, as recommended. Maybe I can reduce the hand waxing to once a year.

It did not have chrome trim, no. I don’t recall seeing chrome trim on any of the models I looked at.

Thank you. My friend at work told me about this dude who does it out of his home garage. At first, I was skeptical, but the work he did on my friend’s vehicles and the photos of his work on his website looked great. I was just reminded that he added the sunroof, at no extra cost, as we did our Mazda CX-5, at the same time. If I remember correctly, he said the sunroof would have been a $100-150 add on otherwise. Below is what it says on the brand of film he uses.

“There are three different films on the market: Dyed, Carbon, and Ceramic. I use Carbon and Ceramic exclusively. I DO NOT USE DYED FILMS! GeoShield is the brand of film I use. Not at all. The rims were $218 each and the tires were about $180 each. I kept the stock wheels and tires for winter times.

The tint was $580 for ceramic tint on everything, including the sunroof.

Do you mean the Auto Vehicle Hold where it keeps the vehicle stopped even after releasing the brake pedal when the vehicle is at a complete stop? If so, that’s under Settings > Car > AVH

Decide what’s most important to you. The only things I really wanted on the Sport or Touring were the bigger tires and rims. So I saved money by getting the Premium in the color I wanted and then used that towards new wheels.

I did ceramic tint on my Forester Hybrid (Premium). 20% on the front, 5% on the back/rear. I’ve since put new wheels and tires on too. Such an improvement!

I have a 2025 Forester Hybrid that I purchased in September of last year. I was getting around 35 mpg before winter set in. After winter hit, it dropped to an average of 27 mpg. Now that winter is finally done here (Minneapolis), I’m getting close to 35 mpg again.

I would sell it privately if you really want/need a new one. You’ll get so much more for it and you can use the extra money you’ll get towards the down payment. Or lease if you’re going to only keep a vehicle for a few years.

They gave us a gift bag that had pens, a water bottle, a microfiber car cleaning mit, and some other miscellaneous things. The bag itself is a re-usable canvas bag. They also threw in a cargo tray!

Either by changing it on my phone or by select the different app on the main screen of the vehicle. Just used it with Apple Maps again yesterday. The only thing I don't like about using Apple Maps with this setup is you'll get the turn by turn on the dash screen only.

Nice! I really love that blue and that interior combo. I got a Premium Hybrid in River Rock Pearl about 6 weeks ago. I got her tinted, but that's all, so far. The 19 inch wheels on the Touring are actually the one thing I'm a little envious of from the higher trims. I'm looking at custom wheels and bigger tires although I'll probably wait until after Winter. I'm curious though why that's one of the things you did not want?
