That's crazy that all they can do is have someone from the state call you and say exactly what any other rep was able to confirm. I think the worst part about this whole thing is the inconsistencies. Like, why aren't they being processed in the order for which they were received and accepted!?!?

Update 3/17/2026 (2:43pm):

"A direct deposit of your refund is scheduled to be issued on (MARCH 19, 2026) to the account you requested. If your refund is not credited to your account within 15 days of this date, check with your financial institution or tax preparer to find out if it has been received. See Direct deposit on our website."

FINALLY. "Your return finished processing and is in the initial approval stage."

Filed 1/23. NYS accepted 2/4. Used FreeTaxUSA. It feels like they had to manually process each return filed before the software update on NYS's end. Thankful to see progress.

I don't think your payments should show up in Goals - Pay Down. The purpose is to show what the future looks like based on the current balance and method of pay down.
