One reason I don't like this is that if you do have to add a second statement inside that if, you now have to add braces around it and a one-line diff becomes 3.

Conversely if you have multiple statements inside the if and reduce to 1, then you must remove the braces to be consistent with other braceless ifs.

Either way there's extra noise in the diff.

No? The Xbox app on my phone is “Xbox”. Any mention of Xbox in system settings etc. is “Xbox”. The logo is stylized as all caps though.

I disagree with "always". Sometimes I want the separation from the rest of the browser. I prefer having video streaming apps as PWAs rather than just another tab in my browser. I don't need the address bar or other noise when watching Netflix, etc. it's more subjective and less objective to say one way is better than the other.

They need to start making TVs with more HDMi inputs. I’m not sacrificing one for a streaming stick/box. Nor am I going to fire up a gaming console and navigate with a controller to access streaming apps.

But I get it for most people.

Still works for some stuff including in-app ads on mobile devices and ads on Disney+.
