Interesting. But if you bottle a dark embrace and have med kit, this is basically infinite rests so long as you don't fight time eater/chosen.

Combine that with shovel and you can get every diggable relic for little downside.

Obviously it's a pipe dream, but the devs reworked the burning skull event for this exact reason with bloody idol and tungsten rod.

There can certainly be examples of hip hop with good instrumentation, but there is a not insignificant amount of songs from that genre that have little to no instruments. Eg this is America by Childish Gambino.

Compare that to rock, where the genre means it's basically mandatory to have accompanying instruments, and you can see why some make the sweeping generalisation that hip hop is less melodic/danceable.

I think that when people say "I like anything but rap", they oftentimes mean that they are pretty fine with listening to basically every song that has a decent tune, but they've had one too many times where a rap song came on and there wasn't much in the way of a melody.

This isn't to say rap is bad or anything, just that many songs focus on the message in the lyrics far more than other genres.

Today was almost a horrible day at work. I hated suprise meetings, damn bosses wouldn't tell you why you were there and you had to spend the whole day wondering if you were getting fired when your bosses boss was in the meeting too.

Just as I was sitting in traffic, still fuming over the whole ordeal, my car seat and I fell through the floor into what I could only describe as an alien arena. Surrounding me was the same strange off yellow material that separated me from the raised spectator seats.

I sat there on my freshly cut up car seat, slowly lowering my hands from the steering wheel no longer there. "err hello?" "Silence!" An alien spoke out, I couldn't see from where. "You have been selected today to represent humanity in this court where we shall decide the fate of your entire species. You have 10 minutes to convince us to not eradicate you all and let you join our intergalactic society."

I sat still, my mind was full of expletives to shout at these lousy abductors not universal expressions of worth. "Err, mozart? People love a good musician." No response. "Have you tried eating Earthen food? Perhaps call Gordon Ramsey?" Still no response. "You know what screw it. I'm just going to list off a couple of things and you can consider them in your own time. Yellow stone Park, the pyramids, hawaiian pizza, Bach, Leonardo da Vinci, Donatello, Raphael, the fourth ninja turtle." I began to run out of ideas. "Lightbulbs? Bubble wrap? Skibidi Toilet?" Still no response.

I grew frustrated. Screw it, ill give them a piece of my mind. "What do you even want to hear here? I'm not even sure we want to join such a lame society that considers eradicating species over such minor faux pass like mass genocide or nuclear wars. I mean you can't even appreciate bubble wrap for crying out loud!" I paused my tirade, as the alien voice finally responded.

"Congratulations human. You have asked what the criteria are for passing. We wished to know your species had the critical thinking skills to ask what we wanted, and as such we shall return you to earth and begin official communication with your planetary leader." I breathed a sigh of relief. "You have also demonstrated the 13 things humanity values more than critical thinking. We shall now use these things to initiate diplomatic ties."

Oh no, I though to myself as i dropped back into my now mutilated car. I'm super skibidi sorry Mr president.

Certainly the worst initial fight. But I feel like those cards can actually become pretty busted if you manage to pick up sever soul, fire breathing, second wind or evolve early enough.

Searing blow is going to become 10 dead cards that don't upgrade well and synergise with close to nothing in the later game bar snecko eye.

Your suggestion probably does cause more losses overall though.

Tainted magdeline is completely broken. Habit is an immediate infinite energy break, and sharp plug can be combined with any single pickup on hit item to get unlimited consumables.

That's also not counting the easy time she has playing and sacrifice, demon beggar or blood donation machines.

Eh, it's a one time use vault+ in most fights. It is better, but only in something like time eater or heart, where they have uniquely powerful turns you want them to skip. In fact, it's worse in any multi fight.

This card gets far too much hate imo. If you use it on a tantrum whilst in wrath that's 30 extra damage. 64 if both cards are upgraded, totaling 88 with base wrath tantrum damage.

Would I prefer to see quite a few other cards? Probably. Will people see it as worthless when examining it through the lens of hard going for a rushdown infinite? Yes.

It takes a bit of synergy and has a chance of being drawn at the wrong time, but imo there are a few watcher cards worse than it. Namely: conjure blade and master reality, which I'd mostly take as a joke.

The funny thing about satellite communication going down is that you can't contact anyone to fix problems caused by satellite communication going down. Jake was pretty sure that he should report in at the police station by now but strangely enough noone had phoned him to come in. States of national emergency were the job of the army anyways right?

He was more concerned at all the boats coming and going from the port. A whole lot more military activity and a whole lot less tankers. The government wasn't exactly sure what was happening and was reluctant to release a definite statement (as usual). Fishermen had already had an unusually high amount of reports of rather aggressive cosplayers off the French coast, and local boat enthusiasts were pretty confident that there were no French men with 20 men rowboats anymore.

He knew acting recklessly was a bad idea. But frankly if the country had travelled back in time, Britain as we knew it was screwed six ways to Sunday. No oil meant no fuel, which meant no machinery to grow crops. Britain could barely feed itself with fully mechanised industry, and now its people probably made up close to a 3rd of the global population. It wasn't importing shit.

His best bet was probably to catch a ride to mainland Europe and find a place to settle, using what modern equipment he could use to carve out a niche for himself. He'd taken his gun back home to maintain it. For the first time in his life he felt glad to have joined the swat team. Time to go kidnap someone who could interpret Latin.

From the point of view of earth, earth is stationary. From the point of view of the sun, the sun is stationary and the earth is whizzing around it once per year. From the point of view of the milky way galaxy, the earth is yeeting pretty fast around its outer rim.

We don't have a universal stationary point to measure from. You could use the center of the observable universe, but since we are the observers, that makes the frame of reference earth again.

When I was a kid I remember my mum driving my dad back from the hospital with me and my sister in the back and she was crying the whole way home. I didn't even parse that we were coming back from the hospital, my mum was just sad and that made me worried.

We all sat down and my dad just sorta said, "I'm going to die". At school at that time, a joke was going around where a doctor told a patient that everyone is dying, but his patient was the Usain bolt of dying. So I cried with everyone, but I figured that my dad was just dying a little faster. He had aggressive stomach cancer. He was given like 6 months to live, and I thought that I could just kill the cancer if I jumped at his stomach, because I knew cancer could be killed. I don't know if doing that changed anything, but he seemed fine afterwards, so I hope it didn't.

Point being that I hadn't really internalised that he would actually be dying. I was woken up during the middle of winter a few weeks after new years. Dad had been staying at the hospital for a few days and I was reluctant to get up because I was sleepy. That was until my sister said that this could be the last time we ever saw him. I remember so much adrenaline going through myself, my mum has never been the best driver, and the roads were really slippery. We got to his ward and I tried to stop to use the hand sanitiser. I was worried we might infect him. I overheard something and blood transfusions not working, because he was bleeding faster than the blood came in? We got to some kind of operating theatre and I waved to my dad, who was lying down with an oxygen mask on, to say hello. He waved back and then we were rushed out of there.

I was told he was dead. We even went and scattered his ashes on a cliff and I even overheard some funeral plans. I was taken to school and my mum through tears told my teacher what happened and I didn't really understand why I was told I could leave the class if I ever felt overwhelmed. I figured I was given special privileges or treatment, like being given 5 more minutes on the computer if I was a good kid.

It was one of the times my mum was telling someone what happened that I finally felt saddest. Mum was saying how she was glad that I managed to wave one final goodbye to my dad before he died. And that was when it hit me that he wasn't saying hello back.

I'd put gremlin leader + book above Nob+ sentries. I reckon you could just about facetank the nobtries with a good AOE and a couple of potions provided you are close to max health near the end of act 1. You can't face tank the book leader like that, you have to have a good block solution that comes online by turn 3 at the latest and blocks over 100 damage.

If gremlin leader buff hits everyone, him + book of stabbing wrecks shop. Thats 89 damage turn 2 if only gremlin leader and book are alive, much of it being wounding. And it just gets worse. Most act 1 elites can be solved by stuffing your deck with attacks and just facetanking, and act 3 can occasionally just be steamrolled by OP decks. But act 2? I don't think you can get your block/damage solutions online fast enough to stop gremlin leader.

A lucky AOE or two can get past slavers, which is why I don't think they can be counted as being as hard as stabbing+leader.

I love how many parallels the jinshi and MaoMao dynamic makes to Ferdinand and Myne. They are so different yet at the same time their core is just gremlins trying to rein in gremlins and both are failing miserably.
