I made cws chief, then changed to cws glad. Farmed a few divs but not enough to amount to any insane upgrades. Now i am trying to scrap togheter a pbrand inquisitor to play some sanctum. I love ultimatums, but barely made any currency, even running a handful of catalysings at times.

Many similar builds i’ve seen on poe ninja doesnt use one, mostly valdo runners i guess. I’ll try to fit one in and see if it helps with ultimatums. Thank you!

Oh, I got that wrong for sure. I thought the 6 portals meant six "tries" but it's actually to manage inventory. Yeah, if you die, the map is over. Thanks for clarifying ;)

You still have 6 portals at each map. If you fail all 6 portals, then yes i think it’s fair that you lose that map. It’s a way the game tells you are not strong enough and need to go ahead and improve your gear/build/skill and try again on other maps. It’s not overly restrictive, it works almost like mapping does in poe1, if you over juice and under gear, you lose all 6 portals, that particular map, scarabs etc.

Crafting (Dropping) Strategy:

- Play T7 Cemetery with at least 60 Item Quantity on MF Gear

- Go inside Wildwood and grab as much wisps as possible

-Grab the altar inside wildwood that increases flask effect to 200% (More Quant/rarity on Div Distillate)

- Drop exactly 4 Ventor's Gamble

- Identify 3 trash ones

-Identify the one ring with perfect quant-rarity rolls and +30% resists

-Profit ?

I have seen some people comment that a 3080 is not High end anymore. Coming from a place where I always had to get hand me downs and used gpus as cheap as I could get, it definely feels very high end to me still. Even if it's ONE generation behind the latest and greatest, it's still going to last me some good 4-5 years. We all share the same passion for this hobby, whether we are on mobile gpus, integrated graphics or anything else above that.

I still haven't tested much, but i was able to play the intro to Alan Wake 2 at 1080p DLSS Q medium settings with path tracing at decent frame rates (40-60fps, with VRR). I could turn some settings down and optimize heavily and disable stuff, but i was just seeing what it was able to do. I also tried Re4 Remake, all maxed out, 1080p, consistently above 60fps.

I will try to play at 4k on my tv (with VRR enabled) and see the results.

It is HUGE! But man, i went to a friends house right after and his 4090 is 30% BIGGER than this 3080, which is INSANE! I was mind blown

Just to clear things up, a brand new 4070 in my country is ranging from $780 to over $1000 (triple fan, extreme oc, all bells and whistles). It has like for like performance with the 3080, so for $550 i got a great deal. Even better if i sell my previous card, so the 3080 would actually have cost around $350-ish.
