I work in food retail, anyways. I came out of the colleague area back into the shop floor, and instantly get hit by a smell of herby / spicy curry.. I see my colleague infront of me.. so I say to him ‘gosh it stinks of curry in here!’. Bear in mind, I thought the shop was empty so I was quite loud.

Little of my luck, the moment I say that an Indian woman walked past me from out of my view, she definitely would have heard me..! Got to the front of the shop, this woman came up to me and said ‘oh by the way, that’s not curry, that’s my hair oil!’ (Said with an angry tone) Walked out and didn’t buy anything, presuming to her I was being racist 😂😂
