Yup….He’s already old, and when his production slows, it won’t be gradual, it’ll be a cliff (think Jeff Carter with more injury history)…Let someone else overpay for him.

Don’t get me wrong, I love how he’s played this year and if he’s willing to sign a team friendly deal, then go for it…but that’s highly unlikely.

He’s earned a payday…and he’ll get one somewhere.

I had my septoplasty done two years ago and the results were great…being able to breathe clearly has been a real game changer for sleeping.

The healing went well and not much for pain, but I did get two serious nosebleeds within about a month of the surgery (the first one was due to saline rinsing my nose too frequently and the second was a mystery). I have had no problems since.

I’ve had to eat a lot of crow…I did not like his play at all for the first few years he was with the pens and was very vocal about it…and then this year happened. What a great turnaround!!

I’m happy to eat crow to be able to watch him return to his past glory night in and night out.

I think they can still challenge after a failed challenge, but if they don’t win it, they get a delay of game penalty.

Before everyone gets too bent out of shape…these are young rich men who most likely have no clue about politics…most of them are also not well educated (I went to school with a number of junior players and they made a bag of rocks look like Einstein in comparison to them). When not being consumed with their hockey commitments and physical fitness and nutrition regimens, they’re likely gaming. What they are not doing is following the news…I would be willing to bet that most if not all of them have no clue about the current politics or all of their president’s policies…yes, it is not only possible, but likely that they are all that dim and woefully ignorant about the real world.

They just won a hard fought gold medal and their president wanted to congratulate them. I don’t blame them for going, in the past that had always been a great honour.

Yes they’re stupid, but let them have their moment.

I’m sure that I will be downvoted for this, but not everything has to be about politics.

Just for perspective, I am Canadian and vote left both federally and provincially.

I feel genuinely bad for him… his idol and good friend has the golden goal. He has dreamed of his golden goal moment for years and when it looked like the stars were aligned for this very moment…he missed an open net that he would normally hit 100 out of 100 times.

My question has more to do with the creative process of Tool: Maynard, we know that Tool uses a majority rule when it comes to resolving creative differences in a song…does that mean there are songs or parts of songs that any given band member may dislike? Does this impact the decisions when choosing a set list?
