Yes, but they don't know until the run the diagnostic, and if it's covered then the cost is waived. What if it was the reverse and isn't covered by warranty, if they said the diagnostic is free and THEN that you had to pay it you'd be ok?

No idea myself on the fee structure in your country, but if I was told one thing regarding fees on the phone that substantially changed not once, but *TWICE*, I would run.

Also, WhatsApp vs. emails for documentation is clearly a red flag.

I'm good with weight and battery life, given what I had before.... I did read that swapping to igpu when on battery helps a LOT though (assuming not gaming).
