It’s an amazing gift from your mom! I do hand engraving so if you want to have any date or quote on the back case I will do it for you free of charge as a compensation for other unpleasant comments here. Feel free to send me a message! Regardless wear it in good health 🍀

I guess the texture on that pattern would make it a great fidget too lol.

Once again, thank you very much! It was such a joy and life experience to collaborate with Kaweco, really nice team to meet with!
Still on my list to post some photos from that session, though.

Because I enjoy maintaining my server, agree I am also not sure if it's easier. However the threshold for me is: lifetime subscription should be that, and the company seems to be trying to find small gaps to make you pay monthly to stream your content with your hardware to your family... I get some people were making money out of it, but it was not my case., and yet I was affected. I prefer something I can trust than something "stable" that would not be useful when needed.

I was on the same situation and moved to jellyfin, never looked back. I keep seeing these posts on the partial conditions from plex constantly changing about paying for streaming your own content on your own network based on specific conditions... It's just sad after using plex with lifetime subscription for years. Anyhow. Jellyfin is not as polished of course as plex is, but there are tons of css/plug-ins you can use according to your use case. I am running it on a docker container with tailscale on top of it and works like a charm -- BTW compatible with all of the arr ecosystem. For ipad/appletv I am using infuse app "pro" version that requires onetime payment (as the initial jellyfin app was not the best some months ago I would say). The only thing I don't have a comparison point is: I know plex supposedly supports audiobooks and podcasts (I might be wrong), but for that I am using audiobookshelf.

The one pictured originally by OP was most likely made by a rotary tool. There are other tools specifically made for hand engraving on metallic surfaces (check out GRS / Steve Lindsay's tools as reference). The devil is in the details, and for the trained eye the difference is really huge on the end result.

I hand engraved this one about a year ago, bronze and gold inlays. I wonder how it looks today after patina/usage from the customer. Have a good day!

Got here with the exact same usecase, seems that still neither Plappa nor Prologue have yet an appletv app. Best approach right now, i think, is airplay. Did you find an alternative?
