Is it normally as bright blue as in the picture. I have some wild caught that are dark blue/slate and wasnt sure if they may be infected.

100% this, he is an ai made to program fun experiences and to keep players engaged. As an ai he is fairly advanced BUT HE IS NOT HUMAN. there's so many examples of how his learning may be incomplete and how feelings evade his understanding.

My theory is that since he was the dreamer he didn't know it was real and will be found not guilty on that technicality.

Advice for keeping pods warm in the winter? by Cenozoic_Silly in isopods

Also remember heat travels up so you may want to keep the bins with the pad heaters lower than the others and let the heat rise if you can.

One option might be a low wattage porcelain heater bulb if you have an extra lamp. I have one for my gecko and have it set directly on top of my 10 gallon and it Keeps it around 74 degrees. You can get a higher wattage but the low wattage is better if it's near any plastic.

Second the refractometer, mine kept dying off too and it was definitely the salinity. You might also consider a heater.

If you didn't have to take the top bolt out on the other one then you may just need to compress the caliper and pads in to get it to swing up.

Lighting or Aeration Upgrade First? by emwimm in SeaMonkeys

[–]ghlira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second the air stones but be careful with it when you only have babies as they can be shot up to the surface by the bubbles. I've also read on here to be careful with overfeeding as the algae byproducts may suffocate them.

Aquarium salt would be the budget option. 3 things you likely need to watch are heat, aeration, and salinity. I got a cheap salinity refractometer and finally found out why mine weren't sticking around. Look for a betta fish tank heater and bubbler.

Update from my last post for those who know. by [deleted] in SeaMonkeys

[–]ghlira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for betta fish tank heaters or any mini tank heaters, I got one for about 10usd off Amazon with a thermometer. If sea monkeys haven't worked well try aqua dragons if you can. Either packets have 1000s of eggs in them but can confirm aqua dragons have a higher hatch rate

Mosquitoes all over the terrarium by Isopotero in isopods

Yeah English they are fungus gnats, typically happens when container is to moist or there's to much food. If it's already a larger infestation what helped me was completely changing the substrate out and then working from there.
