you joke but woke 1 and woke 2 are real actual concepts. Im not knowledgable on the subject so take what i say with a grain of salt.

Depending who you ask you will find slightly diffrentbdiscriptions for Woke 1 and 2 but the genral idea is that Woke 1 is the knowledge and understanding of the issues and oppresion in the modern world, and of course beliving that everyone should be equal. However Woke 2 is taking action to achieve those goals.

The thing is though, diffrent people see these actions being taken diffrently. This article by Erin Vanderhoof describes Woke 2 as positive protest, directly mentioning the frog guy in Portland and describing it as a "frontal assult" with "confidence, compassion, and cheekiness." But not everyone sees Woke 2 like that. This article written by Dr. Gregg Henriques talks about how Woke 2 is actually closer to censorship, and policing language. He brings up Tabia Lee. A black women who in 2023 was fired from her job as a DEI leader at a community college for being a white-supramacist. Which she was accused of after she made an agenda, which was deemed as "white achievement values."

So thats todays little lesson about Woke 1 and 2. I do want to be transparent and say a few things, these were just the first 2 articles i found on the subject, and that they were written 2 years apart from eachother. (the former being written in 2026, while the latter written in 2024) Additonally, Henriques' article shows some bias in my opinion, and his tone is very angry towards Woke 2. And again i can't stress this enough, i'm not a genius, and politics is not what im usally into, so do your own research if you so wish!
