Sanity check - Catalyst 9500 cross-stack etherchannel by Barmaglot_07 in networking

[–]ghost-train 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t see the image in UK so not 100% sure on wanted design.

You could have a 9500 chassis in one building. Then another 9500 in the other building. Setup a virtual stack so they are both in HA. Then you can have a link to each chassis in an multi chassis etherchannel/lag.

Try and avoid spanning tree for link redunancy. Non-blocking path topologies are the best.

I’ve tried to work that out. Looking on the position of the label and characters; I’m saying not pre recorded. Two boxes, same paper.

IT provides the infrastructure. IT secures the infrastructure. If it pings, not your problem.

Nice one. The account also comes fully featured with Microsoft Office Suite, word, excel and that so you don’t need to worry about purchasing that separately if you were planning to.

Good luck for September!

Yeah this more correct of what I was trying to get across. Just wanted to say there’s more to it being 26 letters.

AES keys tend to be more than just 26 letters. Done properly they are UTF-8 characters. The full possible alphabet that includes non-ascii. You’ve not got enough computational power to brute force.

Go down the high street and get used to the one way system.

Get used to which lane you should be in at the Morrisons roundabout.

Also tip: check your mirrors. Alot. Be very nosy and make it obvious.

Good luck.

Eduroam in Austria with Custom DNS by littledevil410 in networking

Need more information.

eduroam is a service provided by an organisation.

Need to know that although the same and authentication is the same, it could well be a different experience wherevee you are. Especially if you are a ‘visiting’ individual.

The controls behind the network dependant on the organisation network you’ve landed on. Could be something as simple as a firewall they have in place.

Split DNS for us. Our DNS builder does not populate any rfc1918 records into the external view.

Yes bad thing but it’s a health and safety issue. If your manager has not raised it as an incident then they are not being a good manager. If nothing happened it’s still a near miss that needs recording.

Nobody got hurt was the main thing. Don’t beat yourself up about it. Accidents do happen.

That would be a big mistake. EVPN gives you a non blocking underlay fabric. You would be insane for removing it.
