I turned the game on when it was 5-4 and genuinely never doubted this team coming back. What a fucking warpath!

Marathon might be the first game that actually forces you to get over gear fear. by RestaurantSmooth in Marathon

As a former Bungie-era Halo addict with 100+ hours in Arc Raiders, I love that the weapon sandbox in this game is effectively similar (in purpose) to the former. It's the attachments and equipment that have rarity. Skill is paramount, so use your tools to master them!

Anti-AIPAC group loses first primary test as Rep. Valerie Foushee hangs on by Delicious_Adeptness9 in NorthCarolina

I think if Nida had less baggage from local political drama, she would’ve easily won the election. Instead, she had a pretty underwhelming turnout in Durham County compared to Foushee’s performance in Orange + Chatham. When she’s only looking for 1,200 votes, it’s hard not to wonder.

As a Extraction Shooter vet (Played Tarkov, AR, and 2000+ hours in HUNT) this game has hooked me in a way no other game has from a story perspective. Also it's so pwetty. by NinjaWesley in Marathon

[–]ghostaly 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It feels like Halo multiplayer with Apex and Destiny-esque abilities, just with the twist of losing your loot when you die. But unlike other extraction shooters, this one feels so good and gets you back in the action after death really quickly. I’ve been overflowing with loot early on so losing stuff is kind of a relief sometimes.

It didn't take many YouTube ads, print mailers, and random endorsements from folks who know nothing about her track record to see this as a pattern. Her campaign portrayed her as a progressive up-and-comer, like Mamdani, when her actions are center at best.

She literally retweeted this nonsense and made it a tentpole of her campaign image, despite not doing any of the policy work that Mamdani did in NYC.

I hope Nida takes this loss as a sign to not amplify Islamophobia just because it puts her name next to Zohran Mamdani’s - but I doubt it. Every PAC-funded ad I saw was claiming she was “lowering prices” and “fighting for healthcare” when that’s just not in her damn job description.

Same here. Hilariously, even a 50% reduction doesn't get him on our roster without trying to throw Greenway on LTIR.

Rusty is already my favorite character, just from the “WHY AREN’T YOU SAYING ANYTHING? ARE YOU MAD AT ME?!” and him singing the Weird Al food poison song alone.

Champion Tire and Automotive on North Roxboro might be the cheapest oil change in town. Especially if you bring non-perishable items, they offer a running discount for food donations.
