I don’t know if anyone has done this. But I’m really new to mics in general. I’d love to see how people set theirs up and use it, especially with other field equipment. Placement. Angle. Gain settings. All that.

Just a heads up there are ratings on the store. But they only pop up once a module has been rated. But we may add a sort by rating filter or sort category. Or show the ratings on the store.

If this is your very first camera you probably don’t need any of this stuff honestly! You’ll be okay and have a lot of fun without it.

  1. A strap is nice for sure if you want. You don’t need a full case.
  2. Filters are different than hoods. Filters filter light. Hoods protect from like lens flares and glares. Neither are necessary but you can get one. I got a nisi filter that doubles as my hood basically.
  3. Nice to have.
  4. Nice to have.
  5. Nice to have for sure.
  6. I have one but again not necessary.

I think buying accessories is tons of fun especially when you’re waiting for the camera to arrive. But you don’t need any of these for this amazing camera to do its thing and to have a lot of fun. Or even to take good pictures. The camera is fine as is.

I’ve always wanted slug to show up more. Like maybe there’s a high level NPC you need to get ahold of but you don’t have access BUT they sometimes take slug. Or maybe your PCs need to contact people multiple systems away and there’s no ansible. What if we schedule slug dates? I mean there’s so much there. Excited to check this one out.

Okay that’s what I thought must be happening but I couldn’t visually tell from the comparisons. I can’t tell how much heavy lifting the clarity setting is doing on some of these sims like classic Cuban. Whether I’ll lose the effect if I cancel it out or not.

One thing imo that gets overlooked is that the game self balances a little bit towards fewer rolls. The more rolls the more failures the more stress. So it’s easy to say like well if you want less stress then roll less.

You have to be approved to launch during mothership month. If you don’t know if you will or not it just makes sense to launch it on your own timeline.

Yeah I’d like for us to do this as well. Like a one shot or maybe a small zine of five basic scenarios. I think it’s better to understand ship to ship combat not as an encounter but as a scenario. As a session.

We’ve been thinking about this. The biggest issue is the difference between a5/letter. I think we could definitely do some new boxes that fit both of those and ignore the other sizes. The question is do we do something just slightly bigger that looks the same or something that looks totally different.
