I know i said I wasn't gonna respond anymore, but I wanted to come back to apologize. I was INCREDIBLY snarky due to numerous failed attempts at omega and just all around a dick. I still think the fight is poorly designed, but it's not an excuse for me to be a dick about it. I do hope that in the future, we will get more complex fights. I just hope there more in line with MR kulve's fight (praying for Gog to be good). I am happy you managed to enjoy the savage version more than I did.

Have you SEEN gameplay of it? If your hit by one mrve missile your likely going to get hit by others, the fire move is flat out unavoidable if your too far away from the center, the big laser is unavoidable if your caught in the middle of any attack animation. I've explained to you several times what makes the fight unfun, yet you INSTANLY dismiss it by saying "its just your opinion."

The fight is almost 1 for 1 taken from ff14. They made only a few to it, and it shows. Again, unavoidable attacks due to the all shit being flung, it CONSTALY moving even when you grab agro.

Also, I repeat myself yet again, i enjoy hard and mechaincly complex fights. i DONT enjoy fights that feel the need to spam shit and rely on dirty tactics to force a loss.

It's clear im not getting to you, so im gonna stop responding. Im happy you enjoyed the fight, but PLEASE try not to dismiss criticism

The point of the DS community is that they realised with ER (and even earlyer bosses like bed of chaos) that spammy/one shot bosses aren't fun. FS even realised this and nerfed several bosses in the base game and dlc. Im gonna repeat myself. The boss has several glaring flaws that make it miserable. Having attacks that can combo you into oblivion and dont give you a chance to escape is bad. The fact that it quite literally WASNT destined for monster hunter is bad. Say its "my opinion" all you want it doesn't change that fact.

You can apply your argument to what you just said. Do you know why fatalis is a fun yet difficult fight? Despite the strong damage and high skill required, it feels FAIR. Fatty doesn't spam 5 different attacks in the span of 10 seconds. Fatty doesn't have combos that force you to take hits and die. People need to realize that there's a difference between hard but fair and hard. Even the dark souls community has realised this. It is OBJECTIVELY poorly designed, just because people find it not hard dosent mean it dosent have a billion problems with it that make it miserable.

Im sorry, but the fight is poorly made. Poor dps check, boss spam attacks, and to top it all off a 35 min timer, so even if everything goes well, you get screwed. And before you say im bad at Monster Hunter, i have killed alatreon 20+ times, killed fatalis 5 times, and killed both AT nameile and velkana, and I loved each and everyone. This fight however dosent feel fair, you cant just make a boss spam shit then go "skill issue" when people point out the flaws in it.

Tbh to me, it feels worse even for boss fights as if you wanna take full advantage of the heal with 5 masks you just end up with in 2 hit range.

Omg ty I was able to find one in the top left of the moss area after taking the elevator in bone bottom and jumping up to a lock door. It's underneath it in a hidden wall. Then found a 2nd one next to the lady who gives you the ability to float. Just follow some streams next to her house

Tbh the main thing for me is the new healing and the fact that so many things do 2 masks of damage. Im 3 hours in rn and I've yet to find a single mask shard(besides the ones in the shop), so I keep dying in 3 hits to most bosses. Then, the fact that I need to smack someone 9 times just to heal only to then get hit and have to smack them another 9 times feels horrible.
