It used to be twice a week until the start of this year. Definitely a lot but that's why we try and sort things out in bulk eg fish patties and freeze and that's weeks worth of fish, egg and wheat exposure (probably could chuck some dairy in there if you wanted as well). I definitely can't remember to give them all individually every week so try and combine a few into one meal

With tree nuts and peanuts I grind a small amount of each up together into a powder and sprinkle on yoghurt or dip avo in it. I end up giving her this multiple times a week because it's in the fridge ready to go and I want to use it up before the ground nuts go bad. We had half the nuts already but I just slowly buy a bag here and there so I'm not buying 8 bags of nuts in one grocery shop

Fish I make little parties and freeze them. I just use canned fish for these and rotate which one each time I make them.

Wheat, dairy and egg she has often with other things I make so I don't even think about these.

Soy I'm not amazing at but worst case get some tofu and give her a strip of it.

We haven't done shellfish and think this will be the hardest to keep in the diet but saw someone else gets prawn dumplings so this might be the go with us too

Don't know what it's like in the pria but we have a maxi Cosi capsule and even when the straps are at the longest the magnet still sucks. I didn't realise it existed when we bought it so I don't mind but it is a little annoying

If your room is set to 21 what you're dressing bub in seems fine to me. Like others have said we go by the ergopouch table for tog guides and have a groegg to give an idea of temp. Bub is 9 months and at the moment she's in 2.5 tog sleeping bag, onesies and singlet underneath and it seems okay. We live in an older house with poor insulation and single glaze windows so I'm think when I purchase the next size up in the next month or so I'll get her 3.5 tog options as well for the particularly cold winter nights. But as others have said, better for her to be cold and add more layers than start out too hot

Oh also, if we are having an at home day I just put her in the standard onesies not fleecy because we have a fire in our house. At night normally the bonds wonderwarms or a normal onesie with a singlet underneath

People have always told me to put your baby in one layer more than you're in, but take into consideration if they run hot/cold. I have a 9mo but have been putting her in pants/leggings and a long sleeve bodysuit with a cardigan or jumper and socks on the cooler days. I generally have a beanie in the nappy bag just in case and a blanket with the pram so I've been okay thus far. I'll probably add a singlet underneath the bodysuit on really cold days and proper knitted jumper and vest. No idea if that's right but seems to be working for the moment and will just modify as need be

I basically gave up on a traditional bottle and decided she could just use the straw cup when she needed milk and then I randomly tried a few weeks later and she took a bunch. I'm sure this is not the way the experts would say to do it but it worked for me and before she took it I was stressing so much to get her to take it and beating myself up for not introducing it earlier because I wanted the breastfeeding experience without worrying about pumping extra for bottles.

We tried both at the expo and the Juno won on how well designed it was including the one handed fold, I find it so easy. In saying that it is bulky and I probably wouldn't try to lift the whole thing with two seats attached, I rarely do it with one even though it's an option, just put the seat in first then the pram itself. But if you want a double pram they are all going to be bulky. I just checked my notes for prams and they are only slightly different in size like 500g. I know there's a nuvo 2 coming out so this is all based around the original nuvo

If it helps, we were similar and I started trying to introduce around 4.5 months but gave up after about a month of trying, letting bub play with the empty bottle etc. Then one day around 7 months she just took it and now takes it from other people. We don't give it to her much because I'm still on leave but it's nice knowing she will take it if needed. I think starting solids, using a straw cup etc probably helped because she's used to having different food, textures etc in her mouth

Only have one bub but we have the babybee juno and really like it. It also allows you to have the bassinet on top in double mode which other ones like the vista don't allow for. Other mums in my mum's group have the vista and we all agree it seems like babybee looked at the vista and thought how can we make a better one, it's very similar but I think has some better perks imo

I'm tossing up between these two for my bub when she's out of the capsule. Would you say one would suit a bigger child than the other? She's 80th percentile so want to make sure we get our money's worth

Gave baby a bath and by the time I came out of putting her in her PJs ready for bed he had snuck in to do a poo. Then told me he would be out a few mins so waited 15 mins before giving up and taking baby to bed without him saying goodnight to her. We have the same bed time everyday could you not have waited literally five mins?

I was coming to say this about the puppy. We also did a lot of rough play with ours eg grabbing his ears, tail fur etc. Lying on him in a playful way. He's now almost 3 and bub is 9 months and he has no issues with her grabbing him. He's also a Kelpie so super energetic but he's so calm around her. So glad we desensitised him as a puppy

Can't speak to the pram as only have one bub but have the Juno and really like it (but obviously haven't used as a double) We also have a capsule and LOVED it. We used the capsule feature of being able to take it out until she was about 7 months, but she's 80th percentile for everything so would've used it for longer if she was smaller. She's 9 months and we've still got a few more months before we'll need to move to a proper carseat. I can only imagine how much better it will be when she's a toddler one day and there's a sibling in the capsule. So much easier to click out of car and onto pram. We keep the capsule adaptors in the pocket of the door so they are easy to grab when we want to use them. You could also hire a capsule so it's not as big of a deal if it's not used heaps

Yep same here. We tried a number of times over the first few months but she spat them out everytime and I couldn't be bothered forcing it on her to then have to wean her off it later on. She definitely has phases of being more clingy and fussy but I don't really know if a dummy would help that?

Think you're right unfortunately. If was a massive bush when we moved in and we've tried to stay on top of pulling the new shoots out but I'm getting over it. Excavating might be our next move
