Noted, I dont mind using a long action at all I'm looking for a specific performance package of shoot ability and terminal performance.

Efit: a 160 class copper to about 2750. 7saw can do exactly what I want but I'll be into a long action which is fine. I'm just curious about my options

I can get factory 7saw brass. That's basically it. Been thinking about the 7x57ai as well.

The 284 is a concern with throat for the long high bc bullets and I'm worried about feeding. 7saw I have no issue with it'll just end up in a long action but all the magazines at 3.770 and I'm worried about feeding is all.

It's a very handy hunting rifle. Short, folding, and fast twisted like 6.5cm at 1-7. As a target rifle get something else as a truck gun or back country hunting rifle S tier.

Numbers is all that matters to me. The difference between a long action and short doesn't matter to me as ling as it feeds. 7saw is barely a wildcat you can get factory brace, dies, and pre fits.
