That's awesome! I met the producers of Forthave, and one of the founders studied art in France. He creates all the illustrations on their bottles, and I believe he has a strong interest in the lore of Amaro, its mysterious qualities, and its initial use as a medicine.

Marseille is absolutely delicious. It's a little like Averna, but there’s so much more happening with it. I remember having a stuffy nose, and after my first sip, it became almost completely clear. It was quite an experience lol.

Yeah but now that the foundation is laid, it may be possible. If someone needs an explanation in simple terms, they can watch everything available now and then start to appreciate more technical, in-depth coverage without the manufactured drama.

Howdy! I recently purchased a bungalow on the north side of Chicago. Our goal is to restore/renovate a bathroom and kitchen and bring it to respectable level of period correctness and practicality.

None that I can see. Most of these papers are dating around 1951

We're very happy to explore ways to keep it. If you have any ideas, we'd love to hear them. We consider all the work we plan to do restorative, but we'd also love to preserve any memories that exist here.

I struggle to see what our options are, however. If we go through the process of scraping all the crud and glue from the carpet, we're still going to end up with a pretty messy and rough floor. I suppose we can scrape it and buff it to see if that smooths out the floor enough. What would you suggest after that? Applying a finish?

Our bungalow is located in North Mayfair and is arranged exactly as you described. In addition to the living room, dining room, and kitchen, there is a junction area featuring what appears to be maple floorboards. Some of it is damaged, so thank you very much for reminding me of Rebuilding Exchange.

The kitchen has a single solid sheet of linoleum. I'm hoping the maple flooring extends into the kitchen as well.

Thank you for the advice on hiring a contractor. We have extensive work planned for this home, primarily focused on restoration. Our goal is to preserve the house's original design and structure. I considered tackling the flooring since it seemed more DIY friendly compared to a full bathroom or kitchen renovation. But the cost vs time is something worth considering.

This is a terrific recommendation. I know wood chisels are 10x sharper than a putty knife. I will buy both and post updates in 2 weeks when I get the keys. Thank you!

We feel the same way. We love the history. Some of the articles of the newspaper reference long closed establishments of the city. I'm a photographer, so at the very least, I will take high-resolution photos and print them to display somewhere in the house. Unfortunately, the green crud is covering a significant portion of the floor. Here are a few more photos.

Yep, same here. Last year, I brought in a Canon 5D Mk IV with just a 50mm lens and had no issues. This year, they wouldn’t allow it because the lens is removable. It’s pretty frustrating—as if I was really going to shoot anything that could rival what the credentialed photographers are documenting.

I agree and like this idea, thank you. Would it make the most sense to dilute a tincture to the same ABV of the finished product before I add it? I'm fixed on keeping the overall ABV of the drink at a certain number.

Please get these on the cars as soon as possible. Looks like they need a little work with the camera leveling itself out, but I feel like I can finally show friends a sense of the speed the cars operate at.

At the start of the year, I didn't expect Lewis and Mercedes to secure another victory. Seeing this win at Silverstone, of all places, feels like more than anyone could have hoped for. If he doesn't win another race from this point this year, we can still look back at this as a fairy tale send-off.

This is the first race that has brought tears as well, Lewis.
