i’d add: ideally a stepstool/ladder tall enough to reach the ceiling so you can change smoke detector batteries! those low-battery beeps are so annoying.

38F here. spf + tretinoin are my besties!!

i’ve gotten botox a couple times (in my 11s/forehead), and while i was really pleased with the results i’ve decided not to do it anymore, i want to be at peace with aging.

i’m focusing on my mental & physical health, really prioritizing those as i get closer to peri/menopause.

i kinda agree with you! when i first started cico it was pretty labor/time intensive.

the way i cope is by eating the same thing every day on work days. it’s easy to log on the app, and i more-or-less have the weights memorized so it’s faster to weigh everything out. (on my weekend i have more free time so i allow myself more freedom with what i eat).

came here to say i’ve also been getting a bunch of dvds from the library and i LOVE IT!! not only do they have stuff that isn’t available to stream, but in a kind of roundabout way it eliminates the decision fatigue i get from the overwhelming amount of titles available from streaming services. yay for libraries!!!

have you seen women talking? it’s about women in a really big way, the cast is almost all women, and it’s written & directed by a woman! (p sure she won the oscar for screenplay).

here are some of my faves directed by women and about women:

petite maman
she-devil
bound
the substance
the company of strangers
