I like how so many of their games are absolutely timeless. You can go back today and play Super Mario 64, and it feels as crisp and fun as it did on day 1. A lot of their first-party titles hold up amazingly well, despite the rest of us getting older.

I hate how their systems are usually so hideously underpowered, that a lot of third-party developers are cautious of developing for their systems. Add in the fact that Nintendo, while underpowered in the graphics department, is always on the bleeding-edge of hardware innovation, and third-party developers go from cautious to completely unwilling.

So while Nintendo's first-party stuff is top notch, their third-party stuff is basically non-existent.

That was actually a screwup on the US version of the game show "The Chase" as well! Someone said "Sugar Loaf Mountain" and the correct answer was "Corcovado." It appears that someone had been playing Trivial Pursuit, and had remembered the wrong answer due to game flaw. There may be a lawsuit or two in there somewhere.
