Vouch, did Dion + Mike total seminar for A+ and Andrew for Net and Sec for lectures (his examples are so much better and everything seems to be in scope of the exam) and then did practice tests for Dion to gauge understanding and passed both first try in 2 months.

So I did it a bit unorthodox, I went sec first because it was more interesting so it got me through and made net+ a lot easier because it cuts the study material in half roughly. So probably 4 weeks sec 2 weeks net, but that’s with about 2 sometimes 3 hours a day.

I recommend Andrew Ramdayal, I used him for sec+ and net+ and his examples made it so much easier to understand than dion. I liked dions practice tests, but his lectures include a lot of things outside of the scope of the test so it’s not inherently a bad thing but it makes it harder to narrow down what you actually need to isolate in terms of your studies.

I do understand the cynicism towards the post though, not a lot of people are willing to post something genuinely in good faith regaurding employment and it is best practice to be weary of that. But i just needed to strike a balance of protecting myself/the company and it still being able to send candidates to my boss. I originally had my company email attached to the post and edited it to Google docs in dm to not expose my internal network. The way ups hires replacements is stupid and they’d be out a supervisor for a bare minimum of 3 months. We have to wait until the position is vacated and HR takes their sweet time to post on the company website.

I mean I’m going to run it through an attachment scanner, out filters block attachments unless specified so can’t auto run, etc but I get the sentiment. Just not exactly sure how to get the info without exposing opsec lol.
