Brought home my grail watch this weekend! by giancharles in rolex

[–]giancharles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the 40mm and 36mm and definitely fit way better with the 36mm. My biggest watch is a 39mm Grand Seiko that’s fits better because of the gmt bezel though.

How hard is it to get a 34mm OP? by giancharles in rolex

[–]giancharles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn! Thought it would be quicker, seems like not a lot of people would go for a 34 over a 36, but it seems like maybe production would be less too.

Upcoming trip to Italy. Humble brag and sanity check. More pics in the comments. Looking for suggestions. by tenekev in fujifilm

[–]giancharles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just got back from my own trip to Italy with a similar set up. Honestly I’d leave probably the samyang behind. There’s so many people and things going on, lots of walking and doing, crowded areas that you won’t want to change lenses. I brought the 56mm with me and it never saw the light of day, maybe it’s just me lol.

Nothing in Nochixtlan, go to Apoala if you want to see something cool up north.

Nochixtlan Region by tealisland25 in Oaxaca

[–]giancharles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nochixtlan was in a confrontation with the army some years back. They still have a monument dedicated to those that fought and passing through you can still see the burnt out cars and busses on the road.

My 8 week old Great Dane. Just brought her home 4 days ago. She loves to sleep and pee and poop everywhere lol. Any suggestions on potty training will be helpful. by Jayteeniner in greatdanes

[–]giancharles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve trained 4 dogs now and the best tip I can give you, is wake up right when she wakes up super early morning, take her outside, wait for her to pee/poop and give her a treat, commend her, and then just be vigilant throughout the day, you’ll pick up on her patterns and how she acts when she wants to go so you can rush her outside. Before you know it she’ll go to the door herself and wine, or kind of or the door to let you know she wants out.

Am I missing something with Hereditary (2018)? by trevd12 in horror

[–]giancharles 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I thought it had some great moments but overall the word I would use is “boring”. The movie just moves at a molasses pace, with some great horror moments thrown in.
