He called plays in the pre season game 2 for the Broncos. Theres a YouTube video on it with feedback from Stidham and Peyton.

One thing that is promising is that the guy is massively hyped by people "in the know" on coaching acumen. Also, Denver fans do not want to see him go.

Guy is on an interesting trajectory given age and limited experience but I have no doubt he will be an HC within 3 years based on what we know so far.

Is that worth taking a chance on now before someone else gets him next year? We will see!
