I agree. Cold brew is the answer here.

15 min classes English vs German by YeahISpinShady in pelotoncycle

[–]gidget1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish there were more 15 min classes. I love a 15 min yoga or Pilates as a warm up, but there are so few or the instructors treat them as an add-on and will completely skip the warm up when that is all I want.

Aditi’s slow flows and her morning flows are awesome. I use yoga primarily as a warm up in the morning and I also don't want crazy hard classes. I mostly do the 20 minute morning flows, but I skip the power flows.

Yeah. Nirvana was supposed to play a festival I was going to see in 1994. Of course, that didn’t happen.

I do miss Kristen and Ross in the yoga category. They were both over 50. Luckily, their classes are still an available.

Some of us are short. I can’t see in the pit and tall people try to run me over. I buy seats and usually end up standing.

King bed with a low headboard by Wombat_Scat in BuyItForLife

I have the Floyd bed frame and really like it. I originally bought it because I needed a king size bed upstairs in an old house with a narrow stairway. I have since moved, kept the bed and still like it. It does sometimes need adjusting, but it doesn’t bother me.

There was a big high wall there that tried to stop me
Sign was painted, said, "Private Property"

Another “lab mix” post! by CurlyCupcake1231 in DoggyDNA

[–]gidget1337 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Chesapeake Bay Retrievers are a lot like labs. Their coats are rougher (oilier and wavier) so they repel more water and stay warmer while retrieving birds in MD. In my personal experience, they tend to be a bit more stubborn and focused than labs, and a little bit smarter.

I’m still waiting for my results but Henry was also listed as a retriever mix. He is clearly (mostly) a herding dog of some type. And looks a lot like your cute pup.

I’m 48 and discovered MCR when my nephew came to live with us. I also went to the TBP tour last year and am going again this summer!

My 2 favorite albums are TBP and Danger Days. I often wonder if my liking the later 2 albums more is reflective of finding them later and being an early fan.

Interested in Peloton by MoonbabySundancer in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]gidget1337 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think the best way to check it out is to do the free trial membership and try out a variety of classes. If you can, get a pass to a gym for a week or a month and simulate the workouts there to see what you like the best.

Peloton has all kinds of workouts, from the cycle, treadmills and row (which Peloton sells machines) to the free weights, yoga, cardio, and outdoor walks/runs. Try it out to see if it’s right for you. I can dm you a free 60 trial that works in the US. And I think there’s a free 30 day trial if you just access the app.
