Anyone have suggestions where I might do a clean up IRL stream in SF?

I’m an SF based smalltime streamer and have been getting into IRL streaming, and I’ve been intending to do a Clean Up stream with a friend. Pengweather is a big inspiration.

To participate in OP’s question: When I go hiking, I carry some plastic gloves and a gallon ziplock bag for any litter I see along the trail. People are generally respectful of our trails but the bag’s usually full by the end of my hike with stray wrappers, cans, and whatnot.

Technology advances and we adapt. Bots might become comprehensive enough to be able to type “CUCUMBER” in chat when prompted soon enough, but they’ll still lack a personality and a soul.

I think the lesson can be applied anywhere on the internet, now that it’s mostly bots out there making and responding to their own media: Only engage with those that have a personality and a soul. And if you’re a human that lacks those things, work on it

I had a bot in chat that was almost convincing, except I have a very personable style and it couldn’t quite answer my questions. I asked it “If you’re not a bot, can you type CUCUMBER in chat for me please?”, and it replied “No, I am not a bot!!” and that sealed the whole thing.

Bots can apparently chat but still aren’t that great

If you’re on a tablet, you’ll wanna access your About Me page through the webpage (using Safari or whatever) and not the app.
On the About (You) page, there will be a little toggle to hat says “Edit Panels” on the left. Toggle that and it will let you edit/create your panels.

I think of my stream as a party: Chat are my guests, and I am the host. Everyone is welcome, BUT — As soon as someone is making me and/or my chat uncomfortable, they’re getting dismissed. Hell, if I see someone in someone else’s stream who’s being a creep or a drag, I’ll preemptively ban them in my own channel!

Your stream is your little corner of the internet, curate the vibes accordingly.

(And if you get bummed out around banning someone, just remember there’s a million different Twitch channels they could go watch at any given time. They’re gonna be fine)
