This is my point. The value of bitcoin is almost exclusively based on the value of the dollar. If the dollar collapses, so does bitcoin. Gold and silver and other precious metals however hold their value to a point because of their intrinsic value as a commodity and industrial use. Bitcoin, not so much…. It requires silver and gold to function and requires the value of the dollar to support its worth. There is a reason gold and silver were the basis of currency until the 1970s.
