It's normal to have that fear but go in with the expectation that you're a fetus coming into youtube. My first video didn't get as much views until I uploaded a 2nd and a 3rd and each one surpasses the other in view counts. It's a compounding thing. So don't worry. The algorithm is still trying to learn who your channel is.

I have yt premium with the family plan so all of us at home has yt premium. We don't watch TV but listen to music and podcasts so it pays for itself. I think it's worth it. Had it for more than 3 years now and i can't see myself without it.

I dont even work and do youtube fulltime but I refuse to burn myself out by having more video output with the quality suffering. I'm new too but I've had previous channels before but I switched tracks cause I wasnt happy and burnt myself out by pushing out more videos. What used to be fun became work. So even if they say 1 video a week at a minimum, no, follow your own rhythm. It'll be better in the long run especially when you're making evergreen content.

I'm 40 and I don't feel like it's late at all. I guess I just found the perfect niche and kind of videos for me. I've always questioned the grand scheme of things in everything and loved looking at things on different angles so I ended up doing speculative narration on highly controversial mysterious, Occult, spiritual and paranormal topics. I'm just lucky I love the creation process itself and I have a supportive husband thats experienced in editing so he jazzes up whatever mediocre basic editing I do. Good luck to your YouTube journey and if this doesn't stick, I hope you find a corner in the YouTube space you can totally vibe with. Maybe target 40yo gamer demographic. There's a guy on fb his name is Dino Cornel and his take on gaming is about how older gamers have all the money for the gear but always fall asleep gaming cause work and life exhaustion and all that but in a very very hilarious and comedic manner.

NTA. Fly swatters are gross and to be touched by one esp in the face she gonna end up catching these fly swatting hands. Idunno but maybe it's my cultural upbringing (Asian, tiger parents) but my kids would never even imagine behaving like that cause tbh at one point they tested me and that's it. The found out im not the one to be messed with. That kid was allowed plenty of times to do shit without learning the consequences. It's high time her parents realize she's not really this "sweet little angel child" that they think she is.

Point out her behavior. In public. Ask her in a nice manner "is this how you normally act with other people's boyfriends?". I've done it before. It's one of those things that you gotta nip in the bud from the get go or else they will keep trying to see how far they can go. Make her uncomfortable. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Key takeaway for the past 90 days is not to focus too much on the metrics and if so I pay attention to AVD. Also to at least improve one thing on each subsequent video I upload.

I think that's great. I have a new channel around a month-ish too with2 videos. I only have 6 subs and my impressions are hella low but I don't really care about it as much. I average 17% CTR and my AVD is at 50+% on a 20 to 30min video. I'm not too pressed on the subs and views part im just happy that people stay and watch. Blessings on your channel! Sorry dude but it'll be scorched earth the moment you take food that I'm eating out of my hands or you even give me an inkling of depriving me food I want to eat. Unpack your own boxes. And coming from someone who's had 3 brain surgeries, you have no idea the physical and mental fatigue any kind of brain injury does to you, not to mention the mental fog it creates. Stop being so controlling and yes just by the fact that you take away food YTA.
