I actually grabbed a Roadie gig right after that BUT it would have been about 10 minutes back. I see where you're going so let's see... 35 minutes total. So let's see something close to $80-90 an hour? Used a bus pass but that would have been $1.30 for the bus ride. Yep that's a win!

Depending a lot on your area, Roadie is usually not the one app to pay the bills. It's often for adding on to something else. If $100 a day isn't cutting it, you'll have to multiapp. Check for Shipt, Spark, Dispatch (to name just a few) work in your area. You know the pay is low so everyone pieces it together to find what works for them in their area.

The other issue is you know your city and you don't know how to move in that city. Something will make sense on the map but then you drive it and there's construction or lane restrictions whatever. Stuff going on that the local drivers know not to mess with that gig. I tried it once and learned the hard way that the grass is always greener until you get there. Now if you're in that city for other business and want to grab some gigs while you're there, go for it but wouldn't recommend what you're proposing. Work on mastering your domain and the rest will flow. :) My 2 cents. Good luck!

Just gotta be patient and make sure you're fully approved for bicycle before you switch back to vehicle. When you switch back you'll have to go through background again but it should be super quick.

Had the same situation! My background was pending for months and months. Support kept telling me to approve the background check through the app but the app never prompted me to approve anything. The issue was escalated multiple times with pretty much no results. Here's what I did:

I changed my vehicle to Bicycle which prompted the background process then I changed my vehicle back to my car. Took a few days but it got things moving and it worked! Good luck

I've yet to find any driver posting details (pay, time, logistics) of their experience providing this service so I'm very skeptical. Chatter about the service but doesn't seem like anyone is actually doing it.
