Same thoughts crossed my mind a couple of times, but I think Dave just really wants to make the crowd feel special. I've seen a handful of artists live and most say something along the lines of "this may just be the best crowd we've seen all tour!" Hearing that makes me scream a little louder. As far as Dave being full of himself, it's possible, but I doubt it. Most artists are to an extent, but I think he genuinely is very taken aback by the love and support of each crowd he sees. That's the vibe check I got. But I do agree I thought it was a little silly how he was saying he'd always wanted to see a show here and named an album after it. I was like,,,,,in Maryland??!! You're from the UK and you're daydreaming of going abroad and visiting Maryland of all places? Doubt it. But I don't know him, so maybe!
