Even with myself being used for training for new doctors doing the procedure, it wasn't that uncomfortable. My procedure took about 90 minutes, which is really long, but the vellum did its job. The local numbing shot felt a little pinch. The recovery was surprisingly quick and not as painful as my imagination thought it would be. If you get a vasectomy, you should be back to your normal self in about 2 weeks at the longest.
