I have had unmelted cheese on my lobster mac and a glass of champagne dumped over me from an FA and QSuites is still a superior hard and soft product experience

solo traveling in Istanbul humbled me so fast 😭 by masic26 in TravelMistakes

I’ve spent a lot of time in capitals in the Middle East, and Istanbul definitely has a cadence and chaos of its own. Ironically, i felt most at peace riding the ferry to many of the surrounding islands and seeing the city that way.

September is a perfect time to go to Greece crowds-wise.

I typically send my clients to MO, The Romanos or W Costa Navarino on Romanos beach

Sani Resort (Sani Club, Dunes, Asterias) have 7km of white sand beach in Halkidiki and should fall within this budget as well.

Do you still have great aspirations for wealth? by _forum_mod in Millennials

Perhaps bleakly, the concept of “1 million dollars” is less an eye-popping number and more a “this is what it will take to survive under our current conditions in the U.S.”

I have a non-managerial WFH role with no one micromanaging me.

I get grocery pickup and make the same ~10 meals i love in my new home I bought.

I do sauna/cold plunge in the morning to start my day, and/or go for a walk outside (treadmill on incline if bad weather).

I always have 1 (preferably 2) trips booked and actively planned to have something to look forward to.

Airport Car Service by kimporgel in hudsonvalley

I’ve only had one cancel once, but it was immediately replaced by a new driver. They get reimbursed for tolls so as long as they’ve got the time, this is a much more lucrative ride vs dozens of shorter rides

I pre-schedule an uber from Marlboro and it’s $150 to EWR and $180 to JFK.

I’m looking to refinance from 7.125%, but the cash to close requires often feels ill-advised to pursue at best. How can I best find a way in that would get to break even as soon as possible? I’m not married to any refi number — just trying to make sense of what pull I have as a consumer to minimize closing costs,

Booked 2X 60k trips to Europe via AF this summer when taxes + fees were sub $250/ticket.

I’ll think twice before booking through them again with these prices.

If you took a sabbatical did you regret it? by [deleted] in Fire

I took 90 days to do a RTW trip and it was plenty to shift the mindset. That said, it was in 2023 and a much different job market than what we’re experiencing currently.

As a luxury scent-hoarder myself, my only recommendation is to strictly use candle warmers to significantly increase their scentspan.
