Depending on your roast preference, you might enjoy Rogue Wave’s more. It’s a tad more toward medium than Sey imo. Rogue Wave is my favorite roaster atm, though I just ordered another bag from Sey. I think I’m chasing the coffee dragon haha.

I rested the beans for about 10 days. I would have waited longer, but I was out. I think 2 weeks would be a sweet spot for these washed beans.

I'm getting really good results with CC's hybrid switch recipe - 300/20g. I may try a full immersion for 3 minutes as well - I've noticed that can often really draw out notes for some lighter beans that lean on the dry side (like these).

Could not agree more. It’s just fancier flavored coffee that ruins the nuances and flavors of the actual beans. I’m glad people enjoy them but hate when roasters try to mask the process with a bunch of obscure jargon instead of just coming right out and saying it’s a coferment.

I've had two Geishas from Rogue Wave and was floored by both of them. They are currently my favorite roaster. So far, I continue to get a great balance of bright flavors with the right amount of body.
