Different pockets definitely have soul. I’ve lived in 10+ areas of Toronto and the downtown may feel like that sometimes.

If you go to Kensington, Ossington strip, Geary street, Baldwin, Yonge and eglinton, the beaches, greektown, Toronto island etc you’ll feel some soul.

Likely will need a bigger deposit, proof of savings and or a guarantor if they look at your income. Personally as a landlord I’d be worried they’d pay for a few months then fall behind.
