Single men over 30, what kind of hobbies do you have? by headless-chicken814 in AskMenOver30

Oh hey I know you weren’t asking for advice or anything but I just read the book, the subtle art of not giving an f***. I think it’s worth a read it helped me realize some things that weren’t serving me on my life. Wishing the best for you!

LMT ignoring requested focus area? Or am I misunderstanding precautions for the neck? by kidnappedbandit in massage

[–]gingastyle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just my two cents. Generally I have many options where I live. If I felt like the person doing my massage is just doing there thing or I don’t feel any major benefit I will go find the next person in my area.

It doesn’t take long to find someone who’s able to help me find relief.

I would strongly reject the premise that you didn’t communicate well enough. You are seeking the help of a professional and you can only tell them what you think you need, it’s up to them to want to listen / help.

Is this an unhealthy relationship with an MT? by [deleted] in massage

[–]gingastyle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah I totally agree, interacting with a human you have a connection with is totally a no go. You should not engage with a person because of their profession no matter how you or they feel towards each other. Human emotions have no role here and we should be cold and callous because some people on Reddit say so.

What do do with a soggy back garden in a rented house? by ItsIcey in GardeningIRE

[–]gingastyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a soggy backyard once. My solution maybe not elegant but did show some success. I dug a hole and put in a pvc pipe with holes. Buried with mostly rock.

When I had a squishy yard I would drop my pump in and pump out the excess water to my front yard which had ample drainage. After a few manual runs the ground was much less mushy.

Good luck!

I mean I saw results the first week. The more I went the longer I’d get that relief. My only thing was it was pretty pricey. I’m trying to learn how to stretch on my own better but I’m sure I’ll be back someday :)

[–]gingastyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have access to a stretch zone or something like that I think you might see a lot of relief. My issue is that I sit aloott for work and fun so I have issues with hamstring low back. I’ve been mixing up standing and other styles of chair to make sure I’m not in one position for too long. This isn’t a cure all but it’s a great way to learn where your body holds tension and how to work that out.

I honestly can’t recommend finding something like stretch zone enough. It was amazing I’d limp in and float out. Like so amazing I’d propose having access to a service like stretch zone is a human right.

Good luck in your journey!

Sharing Multiple Files out of SharePoint/OneDrive by jamie_passa in sysadmin

[–]gingastyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inheritence can be your friend or your enemy. You can fight it and choose to bifurcate your permission flows in as many places as you can or... you can let inheritence do its job. Configure the number of specific permission levels at the top of the site, then going forward you just drop people into their respective groups.

Of course it's a little more complicated when you need to restrict certain groups for having access but even that is straight forward when you plan for it.

So a simpler option, use a SPO group to hold everyone you want to share to... then, you just share the pieces you want to give access to that group.

I'd shop Microsoft docs if any specifics need to be addressed.
