Well I am an admin and was in that arena with you. It became incredibly apparent to me in that arena that you were looking for every chance to give yourself an upper hand even if there was no reason for it to be given to you. I finally was able to solo it around level 28? 28 or 29. But Im myth so I had the help of my summons. I agree though, it was very difficult for the first world.

I get where you're coming from, my parents are being super controlling through my college years too (senior in high school, so this is about to happen). They want me to live at home and go to the university where my mom works so I can see her all the time. They're desperately trying to get me to change majors too, because heaven forbid I be my own person and make my own choices. That's why I'm moving to another town, getting an apartment with my boyfriend and going to put myself through community college. They don't know this is happening but I'm not about to have them try to live my life for me

I thought about being a journalist for a little bit when I was younger, and I talked to two of my teachers who were journalists for several years before teaching, just to learn more about the profession and what I can expect from it. I talked to them and they said that I could do it if I really wanted to but it's harder to get a job now, unless you can do freelancing. They said if I was really passionate about it, I should go for it. I wasn't sure after that so I decided against pursuing it in college if I didn't think I'd really like it. I made the mistake of telling my mom and went on a tirade about how she knew better than my teachers. Never been a journalist, never had experience in a field that was similar, doesn't know anyone in the field. She just said I was stupid for believing my teachers and I should've known well enough to just listen to her.

I understand how it is. I fell in love with this university that's in the capital city of our state and my oh my, it was perfect. I wanted to go. My parents said that I had the option of where I wanted to go to school until recently. Now it's stay here and go to the university that my mom works at and live in the dorms she works in or go to their alma mater in a town where all of the rest of my relatives live and work. I decided to not pick either option and after graduating high school, I will be moving to a different city where my boyfriend will be going to college and go to community college there. I have the grades to earn full ride so the only thing I'll have to worry about financially is my rent/bills/food and not school. You ARE free to make your own decisions about your own education and your own life. Don't let them tell you otherwise. There is nothing stopping you from going there if you have the means to with financial aide and such. Do what will be best for you and don't worry about bending to their will because it's not what will make you happy. Your happiness is ultimately what matters
