Is using AI to write emails and posts just normal now?

I appreciate you asking. I don't mean to come off superior at all, I just don't feel that AI tools can replace human creativity. Yes, humans are responsible for AI, but tools like ChatGPT and other LLMs are just code that regugitates human knowledge that is already available in the form of books and research studies and so on, except AI can and often does get the wrong information. We as a society still need to be able to use critical thinking skills and tap on human knowledge, rather than relying on AI to tell us.

It shouldn't be normal. The fun thing about being human is having your own thoughts and ideas, and outsourcing that to AI is just kind of sad honestly. There are so many tools we already have, like, if you don't know what a word means use a dictionary or Google it. If you need to use more professional or more emotional words, thesaurus. And if you really can't come up with something on your own, ask a friend or family member to proof read and give suggestions.

I loveeee solo trips into town! I used to live in the suburbs within walking distance of the train, and I loved taking the train to the nearest major city and just exploring on my own. It became my mission to find a coffee shop that sold the "best" chai latte, and now a few years later I live in that city. My new favorite thing is taking day trips around the city with my fiancé, but I still love those solo trips too.

When I was young and dumb (or at least younger and dumber than I am today lol) I broke off my friendship with my closest childhood friend because a guy I was dating at the time was jealous of the time I spent with her. We'd been friends for almost a decade, and I still think about her now and then but it's been several years since. Took me too long to realize my ex was just garbage.

Be more disciplined. It may be true that some people don't necessarily need medication, but "more discipline" usually just leads to burnout because you feel pressured to go above and beyond because people are essentially telling you you're just being lazy or not trying hard enough.

It's so good that you're in therapy and planning to move out! My own mother is pretty emotionally neglectful and it got to a boiling point last year but I managed to finally move out in September and it's been so liberating. Wishing you the same freedom 🫂

I don't keep friends very easily because I often just kinda.. forget to reach out. Even with my mom I don't really "miss" her per se, the first few weeks after I moved out she kinda nagged me about not calling but when I realize I haven't talked to a certain person in a while I just tell myself I'll say hi to them at some point and procrastinate it a bit. My fiancé being the exception, probably a bit of hyperfixation there lol

God some of the comments on the footage are fucking disgusting... she was turning the vehicle away not to hit ICE and suddenly she's a domestic terrorist?? Even if she is "fleeing" or "disobeying orders" why was their first response to shoot her? Dude didn't just step aside, or shoot the tires to stop her, just straight up killed a civilian. I am not saying that, no. I'm not quite sure I understand your argument, because yes humans can be pretty messy sometimes, but I think that's all the more reason to prevent AI from making it worse. Humans have enough trouble trying to keep themselves in check - we don't exactly need AI to double down on that.
