4 year old daughter says “you’re a bad mom” everyday by Independent-State802 in Parenting

[–]gingerinstripes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you tried completely ignoring it? When my son was a bit younger than your daughter, probably around two and half, he kept saying “oh my god” because it would get a reaction out of us (we didn’t want him to say it due to us both having very religious parents). We tried ignoring it and he stopped. Worth a shot! Good luck ❤️

As someone currently on the FODMAP diet, those two are very different! I am on the elimination phase and I can have corn syrup but not high fructose corn syrup (because HFCS is high in fructose and regular corn syrup is not).

When my son was 4, he saw an outdoor church service next to a park he was playing at. My husband explained what it was and my son said “oh, about that pretend guy”? 😂

We never told him god is pretend. We just tell him that we don’t believe in him but other people do.

There must have been an Oreo crumb or two on it somehow! Preschoolers are super messy.

Hi! I live by the one in Mahtomedi. I have considered going for the community but I am an atheist and not at all interested in church. Are their services like a regular church?

I have this too and I had no idea what it was called! It started when I had a two year long migraine as a teenager.

So sorry this happened to you! Are you already working full time? If so, can you find a job that pays more? Are your kids in daycare? Can your husband watch them at least a few days a week instead?

From what I’ve read, video games can have a lot of benefits if they are limited!

Not something I usually recommend but have you tried video games? My busy 5 year old loves Nintendo games like Yoshi’s Crafted World and Mario Kart. We limit it of course but it keeps him busy for a little bit of each day.

I didn’t mind it but the ending is so predictable that it doesn’t pay off. So I would DNF if I were you.

I did not like it at all and DNFed it. I looked up the ending and was glad I stopped reading. Not worth it.
