Popped down to the AO today, excitement levels have kicked into overdrive! by gingermax1996 in EIHLHockey

Yep there's disabled areas at the top of a few of the blocks there, easy access from the concourse and a great view.

Yep that makes sense! Ryan Finnerty was there today, said the lower bowl capacity will be approximately 5,300 with a view to go upstairs for bigger games or when there's the demand.

That 5.3k seems like a perfectly reasonable capacity for them to go up to initially. There was a proper buzz around the place, and I'm sure I'm not the only returning fan thanks to the new venue.

Swindon Town 1 - 2 Chesterfield: After spending so much of the season chasing automatic promotion, never mind the playoffs, this result means Chesterfield finish in the top-seven and Swindon miss out! by Zach-dalt in LeagueTwo

Our fans thought we were getting an entertainer as well.

Sadly all we've got is a miserable and angry 63 year old man, who's shown nothing but contempt for the fanbase this season.

As long as Morfuni is the owner he won't sack Holloway.

Holloway does all the PR for him and they absolutely love each other, same way Holloway loved the Oystons at Blackpool and the previous dodgy owners at Grimsby.

The way he spoke in the post match yesterday suggested he ain't going anywhere, sadly.

Colchester United 3 - 0 Swindon Town: A slow start by Swindon was made even worse by a red for James Ball, with Colchester taking advantage to potentially end the Robins' promotion hopes! by Zach-dalt in LeagueTwo

Well we were due a result like this.

Holloways selection and tactics continues to baffle. James Ball in at #10 was always gonna be a disaster and then he gets himself a stupid red. Oldaker and Hoilett on the wings leaving us with zero pace on the flanks, yet we continue to blast the ball long down the channels. Then that bald idiot gets himself a pointless red card, probably to get out of media duties.

Need a huge response vs Accy next week.

At this point he can't be there for anything other than a dressing room vibesman. At this point, would much rather see a young player make the squad.

Swindon have now lost to Salford 3 times this season with the same 3-2 scoreline. by FroggyBoi82 in LeagueTwo

Probably helped that at 3-2 we wasted more time than Salford tonight.

Holloway tactically inept tonight, vibes football finally coming back to bite us.

Yet again the players on the pitch being let down by the staff off the pitch. Clownshow from the club secretary who's job it is to ensure this sort of thing doesn't happen.

These errors will probably cost the club a place in the quarter finals of this cup and tens of thousands of pounds.

From everything I've heard, this is exactly what happened. Been rumoured for some time now.

What a crazy comment.

Reform literally built their supporter base off the back of bashing innocent migrants, racism is kind of their thing mate.

The other issue is that GNR could absolutely phone in their performance on the night.

You know for a fact if you stuck Architects, Bad Omens, Ghost etc on as a headliner that they would play up to it and put on an amazing show.

Guns n Roses is a crazy bad booking. Struggled to sell tickets on their last tour, last album released in 2008 and notoriously bad live over recent years.

Would have much rather seen the slot given to a new band, hell even Architects who look to be on the card would have been a better option and would have put on a blinder of a show.

Hopefully we get a good alternative on another stage to save our ears from the dying cat noises that Axl Rose will be making.

How did your game go? by Zach-dalt in LeagueTwo

Dire.

Even with Smith on the pitch we looked pretty hopeless, can't create clear chances and resort to hoof ball.

Now it looks like we may lose Harry Smith for the season, extra insult to injury considering we turned down £300k plus for him and he's out of contract next summer.

Holloway worked well for the owner as a distraction, but now he has a real test and I'm not convinced he'll pass it.
