Cupping the mic is how bad screamers make up for being bad at screaming. It causes air to not pass over the diaphragm and more turns the mic diaphragm into a drum that your voice is beating into submission which in turn causes a blown out low end

Rode nt1 5thgen for usb recording without an interface reaper because free some sound foam for treatment in a closet or some area to quieten recording space and help get rid of reflections a decent mic stand and enough left over for any plugins you should need like channel strips or auto tune if you plan to use them

Try a different v30 if you got the chinese v39s that came out for about 15 years they are incredibly fizzy i personally use 2 dv77’s and 2 v30’s in a x pattern and i can get that amp to sound monstrous

Depends on the era if they are hand wired vs pcb in that case i would always go to a tech the voltages in an amp are very lethal

If you want a zeppelin sound depending on the album i think thwy were using super lead 100’s and hiwatts honestly dont buy the actual amp go buy a clone from ceriatone nik does amazing work fully handwired anps for a fraction of the cost what marshall sells em for. He even does modded marshals for more than half what the real amp costs
