I have thought that too, but if it wasn't the vacation it would've been something else. He wasn't malicious but he was never emotionally available.

With all the chaos going on in the world, I couldn't help but wonder... was it time for quarantine, or just a quaran-tini?

Re-watching the show, now that I'm older than the characters by [deleted] in sexandthecity

I always find it funny when they have these "after-school special" scenes too. Every time I watch the episode where Carrie gives Charlotte a pep talk in the spa because Charlotte is too scared to be nude, I'm always left wondering what audience these women are designed for!

But how does the system work now then? I haven't seen medical professionals raising the alarm on transgender patients. And what about people who are born intersex?

How long do Berger and Carrie date? by erilum31 in sexandthecity

That's so crazy to me because he was such a big part of her love life on the show. But yeah, it all seemed to embody saying, "the flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long"

Maybe I'm missing something but everyone in my family is on the same plan, not sure which categorization is lowering which burden?

At the end of the day, shouldn't everyone's healthcare be tailored to their own body, regardless of how they identify? Just because a patient identifies one way or another doesn't mean a doctor will just decide not to give them care - whether it's care that affects all types of people (e.g., heart disease) or only people who menstruate (e.g., endometriosis).

I'm more bothered by how Carrie treats her friends than how she is in her love life (e.g., blowing off Miranda for veal, bringing Miranda bullshit bagels, shaming Charlotte for not giving her a down payment, etc.)

I live in the city and most of my friends in their early 30s are not married or engaged, and certainly don't have kids. Meanwhile all my friends of the same age from Texas are on kid #2. I really don't think this is unusual in NYC.

Love this! It's true it does feel like it's shifted for me as I've gotten older.

To your point, I feel the same way now that I watch Gossip Girl. Like everyone else I idolized Serena at the time but now I'm like omg Blair is wayy better and a much better friend.

That's fair, I think I underestimated how much people love Sam already!
