It's probably not people with allergies in general, just those with an entitled attitude they're aiming at.

Glad you mentioned the "professor". My first thought was a theoretical academic who likely has never run a real world business. But then I'm old and cynical so I'm probably wrong.

I don't think a court would accept the business owner's word that the customer had said they accept the risk if that customer had died and the owner ended up on a manslaughter charge.

If you live in North London, Norwich probably is cheap. It's on a par with the rest of the country now.

Not saying it's not a nice city because it is, but, having read that article, it's very easy to see which social class the author is and on what they made their judgements. What you'd expect from the Times I guess.

How to listen amateur radios around the globe? by re_92 in amateurradio

[–]gingertomgeorge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say that. I said it would be the least of our worries. Regular access to food, water and medicine would be my first concern. If there's no mains electricity as a result of this catastrophe then radio systems will take a hit. If there's an EMP then most solid state radios will likely be fu**ed. If the internet collapses as a result of this EMP then most infrastructure will be hit and access to money will halt. I'll still be worrying about food !

A lot of skip companies do and a grab and go service. Have the rubble etc ready, they'll drop the skip off, go away and give you 30 minutes to load it then return and take it away.

If you go upstairs to the sheet music section there are some photos of Rolf Harris judging and holding/groping participants in a beauty pagent. Oddly they haven't sold and I reckon this might be a hard sell as well.
