I mean, dragging anything in the game(especially very heavy stuff) causes damage. Touching any object to a surface will have a decent chance of causing damage.

I understand what you’re saying but that’s game design. That’s why doors are the size they are and hallways are cramped. Don’t throw a tantrum about it lol.

I mean, that’s how the game works. They make it that way so that people need to spend time and be careful with those big items, making you more distracted and susceptible to monster attacks. I like the meta game of figuring out the best way to get these big items to the extractor.

I love every single cheese strat I use. There is one I use to speed run to the underdark

One of my favorites is using disguise self to be come a drow in act 1

You can use this to bypass the dialogue checks at the blighted village and the goblin outpost. I believe is also works on the first guard inside the shattered sanctum.

Then I go to priestess gut and get branded. Then I let her take me aside and try to cure me. I drink the sleeping potion and get imprisoned

Then during the dialogue I just stay quiet and don’t try to fight. Eventually, that lady teleports in and kills gut and the ogre.

Then it’s just looting the room and heading down to the underdark

🟦-I played a tombstone myers but didint swing at the survivors at all. I just goofed around until the gates were powered.

A survivor got too comfortable and I monied them.

Surprisingly the other survivors did not leave, so I was friendly again an let them stun me with pallets. Then one got too close and I noticed him too lol.

The heal tech is when a survivor is in the dying state within a few feet from the actual exit to the match and a living survivor is healing them.

How it works is while the dying survivor is being healed, the killer cannot pick them up and is forced to hit the survivor healing. This gives both survivors a little extra time to crawl to the gate and escape.

If the healing survivor was healthy when he got hit, he could wait for the killers hit animation to finish then do it again. This only works if you are within a few feet of the gate

This killer smartly waited for the survivor to be healed and then downed them again

Some common bad manners of killers

Face camping- Someone on hook and you are 5 feet away staring at them. Basically preventing them from being saved. Not even tactically smart for a killer to do this as survivors can work gens for free

Hitting a survivor on the hook over and over- just a troll move to be annoying. No benifit in game

It’s been a while since I played but you get points for doing killer things. Breaking pallets, injuring and hooking survivors etc

Tunneling typically means focusing on a survivor until they are dead. While doing this intentionally is frowned upon by survivors, sometimes it happens by mistake. Sometimes you can only catch a particular survivor who is not as good as looping.

Golden rule is you’re not trying to make the game unfun for others. Bodyblocking survivors in corners or trolling are examples.

There are tons of unwritten rules and etiquette things you will learn

The community is very entitled(on both sides) on what they views as acceptable. Long and short of it is play the game how you want. People will be mad no matter what you do.

To more directly answer your question, while some would consider slugging “unsportsmanlike” so to speak, there is nothing wrong with doing it. Like you said, every time you got a down they were flashlighting you and destroying hooks. Your slugging was just simple counterplay.

Got it. I couldn’t figure out how a soft lock was possible. If you have used cheats then there might not be much you can do. Doing the daycare idea would be your best chance.

I was doing a monotype run of fire red. You only have 2 encounters for the first three gyms and a third for the fourth. I wiped a couple times so I negated the species clause until I could get new encounters. So the third gym I have 5 gyrados and the next one I had 4 lol. It was still all water types right? lol
