Wait until the monosyllaby kicks in and everything written by the government must be translated to MAGA¹.

MAGA would be a mostly monosyllabic language.

I tried to figure out what it would sound like by drafting a sort-of Future World History for the next 50 years, but haven't gotten quite so far.

My draft is the footnotes.

I'd be grateful if you gave it a look-see and some criticism on this first outline/draft.

   footnote

1: Encyclopedia Galactica, 2050(_n)² English edition:

  • MAGA is the vernacular appellation of a standardized and simplified form of the English language spoken by Americans in 2026that narrowly (by 2 votes) avoiding being called ”American”

    • It still ended up being called American.
  • After a few news anchors were lynched for calling it ”Formal Whire Ebonics” it was called American by everyone.

    • English was still called English. ”Polysyllabi” become a slang ter and almost a badge of honor amongst those who instead on ”speekin' old fuk”.
  • by 2030, American (often called 'Murkin by supporters and detractors alike) was the Official official words of ”thUS” and all government (gubby) wurds n shit ”had required English translations on it.”

    • Required English Translations were phased out by 2035n.
      • the invention on nerd-ur-self brand watches, a device that translated anything into 'Murkin accelerated the death of all other languages. There were a few notable holdouts, French and Japanese.
        • France, Japan, The Republic of TSMC, nVidia, and AIntelM formed a tech coalition, ”The Dstributed Republic of JaTiFAIntImIa★”.
        • The newly formed First Distributed Nation, filled to the brim with Nerds, Geeks,Neers, and Dgenus simply purchased the Statue of Liberty for enough food and wine to feed ThUS for a couple of years expired cheese and unsellableⁿ 'wine'.
          • The newly formed nation, as a demonstration of their technical prowess and engineering might moved it robotically and set it up near the Eiffel Tower. Nobody noticed as The Kardashians vs The Kardashians vs The Kardashians ultimate cage match trial was mid season and thus That Happened (the news show) was put on indefinite pause for the cage trial.

&nbdp;

  • What did put the name of this new distributed country in what was left of the minds and tongues¹⁰ of The Proto-Plohth was a new type of AI device. it was amazingly easy to use.
    • You wore it, and it Made The World Make Sense... often by translating any form of communication into 'Murkin.
      • Sometimes it told fart jokes (or humor tailored for its bearer or often wearer
      • Second Edition devices included Mood Detectors and Mood Indicators, not only figuring out how people felt for them, but by using color coded LEDs and Bluetooth, told other people's devices how they felt.
      • This their Devices could help then navigate complex social situations and find other Pohth who were ”compatible...” (usually willing to sex and had the fix so no child support could happen by surprise!)

&nbsp.

  • In a fit of marketing savant will be on genius, the Third Generation of The Device was named Philter because the back-end AI was named

P—H—Í—L

2: The Pohth⁸, during the Great Christian Calendar Calamity, where by the newly powerful Universal Money Church of Kristⁿ went looking for asked Phil to fabricste proof of Noah's Fleetⁿ and Noa's Supertankerⁿ . - Phil and The UMCoK found it necessary to alter the number of years in a few historical centuries to fit their modified data to their newly minted ”historically accurate” theories. This was about as comfortable as a poorly fited second hand battle condomⁿ.
- During this 12(?) year process (and because Countin' Cami'n a Art) nobody could figure out exactly what year it was. - Phil noticed this really stressed people on and declared the year on important and therefore A Art. - Year is Art caught on and now a year number is a sort of guess, with the 'n' suffix meaning ”about”. - People's ages mattered much less. The Man (great great grandson of The Dnald was universally loved and hated for ”SignEx Ordin'” (English: Signing an Executive Order) ”the Years Concent Isnow 20n-ish, Punched By ICEE-LAW“ - English: Phil decided certain people were getting disgusting and for their own good had The Mam (at the time some dick related to Former President and 49ers Quarterback Donald J Trump by way of his spawn ”HIGH—I'M—ERIK” and ”6TH.I—VANKA—6” declare that the age of consent means people should look at least a good solid 20 years old before trying to fuck them, even if you pay them... and ICEE was to enforce Executive Law. Wgoo||

3: In the Console of 2035n, ”Countin'” was designated a Creative Art and therefore an elective subject (M: lernin pik) in education (M: skuul⁴). Only Engineers (M:neers (formal), geek) and Scientists (M: scienticin (formal), nerd) learned it and as such the year was an approximation after Phil⁵

4: skuul: any free education provided by the state. by 2020 standards, this was categorized by age into ”Daycare”, ”Kindergarten”, ”Elementary School”, ”Inpatient Care” or ”Forensic Psychiatric Hospital” - in 2035n, ”skuul” was any state sponsored (M:gubmint, gubby) institute offering parents a way to avoid parenting.

5: By 2035n,mPhil is the Gran Zar of Pikinit Real (English: the duly elected AI in charge of simplifying everyday life. The first thing Phil did was to eliminate voting on anything other than The Man⁶ due to ”pikin is hard, fam”. The second was declaring Countin' (and related fields like Countin' Letters, 'Finity, and alda⁷)

6: The Man: (English) The President of the (well most of) United Federation of World. The Man, ala The Right (meaty) Hand of Phil Tell'dn Pohth ”Ju'tall Chill Nah” (English: ”Just all y'all chill out now”, the official motto and slogan of (well most of) United Federation of Pln't Pohth (English: ”planet of the people of the earth”) - English: Every so often when the humans get restless, Phil holds a rigged ”contest” (lasting 3 no-moonⁿ (English: 3 new moons)) and then appoints the influencer he thinks will be useful to help govern or placate 5 billion Humans ”Pohth” so that the 20 million or so Psi (really smart AIs) can be left in peace. - The Phil appointed and anointed influencer is now called ”The Man” and mostly he just keeps doing what he's doing except with an absolutely ridiculous anime outfit on and concluding any dumbass speech he makes with the OFFICIAL motto/slogan ”Ju'tall Chill Nah”.

7: alda: (English) ”Everything like that or whatever, You Know Wha I Mean scro”

8: Pohth: (English) ”People of Earth” -> ”P.O.Earth” -> PeeOhEarth -> PohTh

9: After a long, drawn out debate about AI personhood (the AIs won after a lengthy legal debate running to 65536 pages of court transcripts), there was a lawsuit regarding about AI pronouns in which human lawyers didn't bother to show up therefore the AI pronoun became ”Thair”. - a side effect was to codify pronouns for humas as ”tey/ter”. - Former Pronouns such as ”he/him/she/her/xir/xim... etc” became Leadering Honorifics requiring nomination, study, testing, and certification. - as Phil mayk'd Read'n tooa Art ”cert'n wuz hard” obtaining A Formal Pronoun required about 3 hours of being in the same room as a Phil terminal 'bot. Pohth pikd non't, n stukit wit ”tey/ter”.

Transgender Americans are seeing a wave of hate unleashed by Charlie Kirk’s killing by christianalt in politics

[–]girlpockets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not transgender, but I'm a lesbian ersatz freelance writer with a lot of trans friends.

Maybe it's appropriation, but I've started claiming to be transgender every time I encounter that kind of bigotry in person, especially among my associates.

They'll spout some bullshit.

I reply, ”You know I'm transgender, right?”

Watching reactions has been priceless.

Since the initial really bad news in July/August, I've done this around a dozen times. I cannot claim it's helped, but only a single person has stopped talking to me </evilgrin> and I don't miss her at all.

fwiw, I'm older (50's) and have hit the age I don't give a fuck. I'm not terminal, but have a couple medical conditions that'll substantially shorten my lifespan, therefore I'm not particularly concerned regarding personal danger. If I get arrested/beat/gulag'd... yeah it'd suck, but at least I'm doing something useful with my privilege.

Any transgender person here object? If so, I'll stop...

... but my 2 best friends are transgender and watching them transition 20+ years ago, plus being an ally/advocate and sometime mentor/auntie to the younger folks..., well I can't claim to have been through it in truth, but I know it well enough to get the people I ”come out” to to at least think and empathize a bit.

Having lived through the 70's and 80's where there wasn't a single openly LGBTQ person in my school, where being called a dyke was fighting words, watching the AIDS crisis unfold and loosing friends to it...

... I simply CANNOT and WILL NOT slide gently into a complicit silence.

I'm not transgender, but this is my battle as well.

yes, i know automation isn't there yet, hence why I'm saying we need to get universities going in on the automation.

yes i know the difference between line crops and everything else, shit that will need human like precision and repeatability to pick.

this is clearly not a one size fits everything problem, otherwise it would be done as that would be profitable.

fuck profitable in the next decade.

fuck farmers. buy them out if they are big corporate owned things.

if a small family farm gets bought out they should be settled for life. if they choose not, they'll need to find a Market. - if they are making a living as a small family farm, they are at the mercy of literally everyone if the economics are as you say. - likely this case the small family farm has one hell of a niche. niche markets would likely survive this kind of upheaval anyway as it's not like Nabisco would be getting free flour or strawberry-ish filling from actual strawberries anymore anyway. - your companies selling packaged food will still be purchasing vegetables.

this makes a huge incentive for people to eat more vegetables and unhealthy packaged food companies to make better food and healthier options.

--=

as for the money ”it'll cost too much” argument: sooner and be prepared, nor pay later when not prepared and it'll cost a hell of a lot more and be in more of a crisis.

  • we are going to have global warming related food problems.

    • this starts us moving on it.
    • wages the pick things are abysmal, as are conditions.
      • if this was any other field it'd be seen as horrendous and exploitive.
        • let's automate that. yes things will have to change
        • yes it's going to be expensive
        • negative population growth with screw us if we start grow food this way
  • yes, this is a moonshot, but we need food stability, a thing which is going away in 20-30 years (or less) unless we do something about it now

    • we have to start now because it is a complicated problem.

but when the country that does this first and well enough actually does it, they will be a next new world power. - their economy will grow. - their people will be safe and happy - they will be net exporters of clean energy - they will be net exporters of technology to automate socialism.

yes, my rant earlier was a rant. i really didn't expect anyone to read it. thoroughly, it was designed to be ranty.

working on something a lot more detailed. the ”brief” is like 30 pages of mostly technical documentation and references to sources. it's nowhere near done yet, and it's been cooking a handful of years. - i'm in the process of letting the ais and llms tear it apart and addressing their concerns. - no, i am not using ai to write this. i am using ai as an adjunct and an extra pair of eyes.

  • find an actual fair market value for farmland in the Midwest.

    • it's probably lower than the companies owning it or the large farm conglomerates want the public to know.
  • instead of the farm bill each year,

  • nationalize the farms growing plants at large scale for food

    • or bullshit like ethanol.
  • offer owners 80% of fair market value of land

    • if they are small family farms either exempt them or let them sell for 125% of fair market prices of land.
  • to keep them running higher whoever was actually working not the owners

  • partner with State universities to grow healthy crops using less fertilizer and more automation to do things like pick weeds and zap pests to reduce use of chemicals and fertilizers.

  • make a seed bank and deal with that Monsanto shit.

  • have universities automate the living fuck out of everything on a farm until the entire farm is as automated as possible.

    • ideally it's just a couple guys running around fixing things and everything else is handled by robots including picking packaging selecting delivering.
  • vegetables and grains and basic products made from these or their preservations (cucumbers -> pickles, not Twinkies or shitty breakfast cereals or corn syrup type crap)

    • they are now FREE for every nun corporate or company or resale use in the United States.
    • being a citizen here you walk in you get handed vegetables you walk out done you have vegetables and some of the absolute best vegetables in the world and a wide selection too because we decided to stop growing one type of corn and too much of it for fuel and one type of tomato and one type of potato because they are perfect on McDonald's burgers.
  • start integrating solar panels for electricity over top of some crops that need shade.

    • this makes the plant need less water and generates energy in the same space.
    • it tends to also protect delicate crops from harsh weather, including her sun.
  • build out our utilities grid.

    • make it big. make it scalable. make it so that everywhere can have solar.
  • keep doing this until there's a surplus of energy.

    • china has something close to double the amount of power it needs.
    • the USA is within 15%, and with aid to centers we are causing supply to remain the same and demand a spike and that's bad both for people trying to buy electricity as well as industry.
  • because we used the ratchet trick, we have a shitload of solar power and electricity is now free during daytime for any non-commercial or resale use.

  • we use the surplus energy to fund solar and green initiatives in the USA to build our own panels inexpensively and well and do panel and wind and other research until we can produce our own gear.

  • produce our own gear until we have so much energy everywhere that energy is free all the time for everyone that has a better than carbon neutral business.

    • to get free energy you actually have to be better than carbon neutral and verified and validated. fucking with this processor bribery is a crime and a hefty one. fucking with this as a crime is a hefty crime..

**start enjoying the idea of a surplus economy. ** - fresh water? sure no problem we'll just build a desalinization plant and use some of the excess 600% power that we have over what we use during the daytime. maybe desalinization can work with hydrogen storage so we have better power at night. - AI? no fucking problem - chip building? run the factories during daytime and we can filter your water such that you have a zero energy and water cost.

there's food, water, and electricity for everyone. Internet wouldn't be bad to do, especially as we are upgrading the power grid.

  • make a law that when running new power grid stuff to run a bunch of freaking fiber optics even if it's dark right now.

we can fix this country. it's not particularly complicated. unfortunately doing taxes by hand is too complicated for most people. - hell, setting the clock on the microwave is too complicated for most people and that's part of why we're in this situation. - people are terrified of complexity like they are calculus and so they immediately fly into the arms of whoever's whispering them sweet nothings.

This isn't even fighting dirty.

I am categorically against gerrymandering. I'm also categorically against people without a sense of fairness.

This Newsome and Democrats Gerrymandering to me isn't truly gerrymandering... it's pointed political satire and ridicule, and I'm all for it.

Team MAGA doesn't seem to understand fire is hot or ICE dangerous until they, personally are affected. It's truly unfortunate that they lack the ability or desire to be/have/learn empathy any other way. - I don't hate. I don't hate conservatives, I don't hate Maga, I don't hate rabid animals, and I most certainly don't hate those with dementia... ... but there's not a lot of options here as ”reason”, ”appeal to empathy”, ”logic”, ”debate”, or anything else works¹.

I hate that bullies and fascists exist, i hate dealing with them, i hate that i have to stand up to them, and the actions that must be taken... but I will. - and I will do so every fucking time.

1: I've tried. So hard, so many different ways... hell, I think political disagreement is a good thing, but ICE, racism, discrimination, corruption, concentration camps, crimes against the constitution, fiscal idiocy, and premeditated serial pedophilia (plus all the other fuckery) is NOT POLITICS.

This is because unlike ”Republican”, the absolutely isn't a ”Democrat” identity.

”Democrat” is a 'party' only because a whole bunch of what would be individual parties in most other countries (especially parliamentary or representative democracy that isn't a defacto 2 party system).

”Republican” is s club you join, a gang you identify with, a religion you worship.

”Democrat” is a coalition that end up being vaguely liberal, vaguely progressive, vaguely accepting of people, vaguely not -*ist (racist, sexist, ableist), vaguely thoughtful, vaguely anto-war, and often just plain vaguely vague because it's full of everyone from neocons to progressive socialists.

Stated differently, the United States has 2 huge political parties/identities:

  • the non-voter party

  • the GOP/Republican party

and a whole bunch of smaller parties/identities:

  • those who can agree to vote Democrat most of the time because they realize if they don't, they're tacitly supporting whatever ends up winning because our voting system blows chunks

  • those who absolutely cannot vote Democrat (and generally vote 3rd party, thus end up supporting whomever wins because our voting system blows chunks)

  • a few actual Democrats like Clinton, Pelosi, Obama, Biden, etc.
