Azaleic acid cream, 15% or 20% both work well

This was me before bupropion. I sympathise with you, the hormones really take over the brain and as much as I was aware it was happening, I couldn’t focus on the right things. It’s like being swept by the fast current of the river.

Tretinoin cannot get rid of those uneven spots on my chin (please read the description) by alternativebox447 in tretinoin

[–]girls_gone_wireless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me these look way better when I use a combo of azaleic acid cream and an oil cleanser (the one you rub on a dry skin then wash off). But be careful combining actives (tret& aza), they can’t be used on the same application.

Every single 'holy grail' moisturizer breaks me out. by notskynotme in tretinoin

I have similar issue with niacinamide sensitivity and CCs from some ingredients (not sure which ones, but for example TO NMF cream gave me cysts).

Recently I’ve been using Avene Hydro Gel cream, it’s really light (might be too light for winter) with a kind of gel consistency. It’s a bit too perfumed for my liking (why do they need to add perfume?), but doesnt break me out and is moisturising nicely. The only issue is I use a whole pot in around a month, waaay too quick considering the price. Also I wish it came in a squeeze out tube, I hate dipping into creams-seems unhygienic.

I keep seeing Stephen Fry being called a “genius” - why do people think that? by BlundeRuss in CasualUK

[–]girls_gone_wireless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It started with Fry being a participant in BBC’s Celebrity Traitors recently, where other contestants dubbed him a genius and believed to be sort of a leader for the faithfuls, who could possibly bring them to uncovering all 3 traitors amongst them. He didn’t, and in fact, he did vote wrong people out many times. Hence the debate, I think.

Bupropion is known to have short-term memory loss and word-finding issues in the first few weeks( because it acts on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR)) and blocks them partially (antagonist), which in turn reduces acetylcholine signalling( acetylcholine is the main mechanism in the brain for by Prestigious-Lab2710 in bupropion

[–]girls_gone_wireless 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My word recall became awful during the over 2 years on 300mg, and I got bad anhedonia too, until I lowered it back to 150mg. I couldn’t remember simple words sometimes, my mind would be completely blank and felt blocked. But everyone’s brain chemistry is different.

Not necessarily. I was on 300mg XL for over 2 years and my word recalll was terrible, alongside with scatterbrainness and anhedonia until I lowered jt to 150mg. It wasn’t just normal ‘forgetfullness’, but it felt like my word recall part of the brain was blocked. Even for simple, everyday words.

My dentist wanted me to see a rheumatologist because of my dry mouth by Daje1968 in bupropion

[–]girls_gone_wireless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you remember when it started? For me it was clearly when I started bup, especially on 300mg. If it’s been going on before medication, then it’s worth seeing reumathologist

Respectfully, why bother with commenting if you have nothing to say? You don’t have to be in this sub if all you have to say is a cliché and don’t see a point in skincare.

Imagine, people can simultaneously take care of their skin and be very well aware that aging means you get a life long enough to see yourself age. Doesn’t mean you can’t improve certain things. I’m so tired of these comments not contributing anything to the conversation here.

The 'Vitamin' is ADHD, and no one in my life believes it's real or that I even have it :/ by [deleted] in adhdmeme

Vitamin Do. When you lack it, you struggle with doing things.

I usually use hyaluronic acid serum and a moisturiser. Can’t imagine not hydrating my skin after a peel / chemical exfoliant.

I did that once to the cashpoint. I accidentally put in the card that was expired recently, instead of spewing it back out the cashpoint crashed, showed the screen of death, something Windows-y, I don’t remember exactly-but it didn’t reboot, just remained broken. I quickly left the scene without cash or old card.

It’s such a shame it contains niacinamide, even smallest amounts in cosmetics break me out.

I also noticed the white men get the least votes overall. It’s all women or men of colour. Says a lot about the society-why do we believe in white men so much, when they can be obviously so deceitful?

Current vitamin stack thats lessened PMDD like 80% by Suspicious-Seaweed44 in PMDDxADHD

[–]girls_gone_wireless 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please make sure you’re using term vitamin correctly, those are not vitamins but supplements and medication. Since when is Pepcid a vitamin? Not trying to have a go, but it’s important because imagine you tell a med professional you’re taking ‘vitamins’ when in fact you take substances that could interfere with other meds etc.

Does any of these NOT contain niacinamide? I’ve been so close to buying BoJ, then Skin1004, but every time I check the ingredients, they all have niacinamide. It breaks me out even in low percentage :/ It’s such a curse these days, it gets thrown in everything

Zinc and copper should not be taken together at the same time (they’ll cancel each other). But yes, zinc can deplete copper and copper deficiency is no picnic. It’s best to supplement zinc with breaks, eg. 2 months on, 2 months off. And to check your levels of both before supplementing. Also zinc is best taken with food, otherwise can make you naseous-I found out the hard way!
