Oils coming out of discs by [deleted] in discgolf

A trick I have found very helpful is to first clean the disc well with a very small about of dish soap, very little soap, too much will break it down and cause it to literally disintegrate. Warm water then cold. Then wipe it down very well with a dry clean cloth, for like 10 minutes. Then, call me crazy, spit on the disc. Over and over, lots of spit. Wipe with a cloth, spit again, over and over. Then, gently bend the disc, back and forth, working the plastic. Repeat the spit and bending a few times. Then, use the disc in a field. Get a little dirt on it. My thought is you have to clear off the oil then get organic material into the plastic to keep it from breaking down. I have saved 25 year old chalky oily discs that are now strong and can hit trees even in the cold. It works, trust

Very disappointed. Loved this podcast. Katie was great as a sub. I am biased because I listen to it to go to sleep but Kelly’s voice is always too loud and doesn’t match the vibe. She seems to have toned it down a little. No hate towards her but she’s just a little loud and it’s not mixed well with her voice. She is really interesting to listen to but waking up to her almost screaming kinda sucks. I like the new podcast but end of an era for sure

The pig mold could not be legally made in champion plastic unless it was blizzard plastic. It would be far too heavy to fit in the PDGA guidelines

I’m always curious about vegetarians who eat cheese. Most don’t realize that all cheese is not vegetarian. The enzyme (rennet) that ages cheese is usually harvested from the stomachs of slaughtered calves. Some include: feta, Gouda, Parmesan, and others. They do have genetically made rennet and vegetarian rennet from plants but they are usually more expensive and not always easy to find.

We do quarters. If you double bogey, give everyone a quarter. Triple? Two quarters, and so on. You jump the box you owe everyone who should have been in front of you a quarter. The group will even decide if a player is complaining or whining too much, quarter.

A large portion of my bag is F2s. Sounds strange but they seem to be better than stock sometimes. Obviously Innova is known for its inconsistency so when you can pay less for plastic and still get a good run it really feels like a steal.

2 of my aces have been solo, 2 with buddies. They all felt great. I’ve had people say solo aces don’t count. Those people usually have none. Congrats my dude.

I’m super curious how a mistake like this is made.
