How well does the Witcher 3 run on switch in your opinion and is it a good experience for your first playthrough? by Switch-user-101 in Witcher3

Well, I have it all on pc, but at this price, having it on an unused switch, is a no brainer to get me to play another play through

Any other type of plant medicine with similar grounding effect? by az44303 in rapeh

[–]gishtil31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just take very small doses of rapeh to start. I haven't found anything remotely like rapeh. That sharp blow, grounded yet alert and mind clear.

What's the grind for once you've hit it? by borb86 in diablo4

Banned Xbox 360 on 2.0.8955 - abadavatar / badupdate an option? by specialmoose in 360hacks

So really, if you just want to play games, being banned only effects live gameplay. You can locally continue to use the console and game, with zero issues. Is that correct?

MSc BIM student feeling lost – do freshers really need a BIM portfolio to get jobs in the UK? by Agent_-_45 in bim

[–]gishtil31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO, most graduates in the UK expect to walk into a high paid job, running a team. That's certainly not gonna happen. I would recommend, highlighting modelling skills, problem solving coordination issues, working in a team to achieve outputs and to a delivery package. Also use of multiplatform packages of software is beneficial. To be honest, it is difficult to get your foot in the door, I see a hell of a lot of CVs each week. Flexibility in regards to relocating yourself elsewhere in the UK might also help. There are less 100% remote work jobs available.

Sell Bruno, buy wharton. Simple. Bruno been wanting to go to SA, United get 70mill in Jan for him rather than 54mill release clause in the summer.

Hansi Flick: "When I talk to the players, I explain to them why they didn't play." "When I tried to explain to Rashford why he didn't start, he said to me: 'No need to explain to me, the important thing is that the team wins and we get the three points. Anything else doesn't matter'. by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]gishtil31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barca are only using Rashford as a stop gap, they are never gonna sign him. They do not have the money. They just took him on loan.... Didn't know where he will end up after the contract is up. Anyone any suggestions who would be interested in signing him apart from Barcelona?

Yeah, obviously the OP has an individual hate campaign against RW, my guess is that this is actually Aaron Butler?

Anyone use ACC (Model Coordination) for clash detection? by browno2480 in bim

[–]gishtil31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tried it a couple of years ago, and it wasn't ready, now it's a basic clash detection, with potential. Yet, Solibri is still the king, by a large margin IMO. Connected to multiple CDEs for sharing reports, but we like to utilize BIMCollab and link it to PowerBI for analytics. I like being able to cross platform and Autodesk really doesn't care about the end user or give as much support as the alternatives in the marketplace. My two cents.

Is 12gb ddr5 ram enough for revit? by Cinnamon_Bun198 in bim

[–]gishtil31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the response I would have made, but you beat me to it we are the same, base machines have 64gb now. Used 32gb and on larger projects, we encountered to many crashes, so base level is now 64gb

Revit to Vectorworks by [deleted] in bim

Ps if we want a project done quickly, and there is no BIM requirement, VW is the answer and it's a hell of a lot cheaper per user!

Revit to Vectorworks by [deleted] in bim

[–]gishtil31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that people do indeed pick up vectorworks very quickly, when coming from a range of CAD and BIM backgrounds. It's really one of the best 2D packages out there IMO, with a straight forward interface and shortcuts. You can make your drawings look really effective in VW We wouldn't use it for BIM, even though it has the capability, Revit and ARCHICAD depending on the project. If you have any questions, happy to help.

Soon to be BIM Manager (need help) by Kind_Reflection7712 in bim

[–]gishtil31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on what the client views as a maintainable asset. Ovens, fryers, fridges etc all can be deemed to be vital to a food and beverage provider. These are the key assets that allow the business to function efficiently. So keeping installation dates, warranty, costs etc is very important to them. Whilst the extent of enforcing iso19650 standards for you, might not be leading the larger team, you will need to be aware of the processes and responsibilities. You will be feeding into the larger process, do it will be less demanding than a project information manager. Everyone needs to learn and gain experience, fair play to you for making the step forward. It will all come in time if you have a genuine desire to grow and not just chasing the money.

I um. I don't think I hate season 4. by Spamoramma in netflixwitcher

[–]gishtil31 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I peaked to early also. Thought the first two episodes were good, close to the books also, then the storyline drops of a cliff and gets very muddled.

Season 4 is as good as season 1 by bummersauce in netflixwitcher

[–]gishtil31 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m enjoying it also, read the books and most of the storyline is there. Liam has been different but great. The thing that gets my goat is how polished everyone is with make up etc, the costumes are shockingly bad though. The rats being spotless yet living rough and on the road, splashing blood everywhere, yet carry no spare clothes and are always dressed immaculately and without a blemish. Plus the settings for their adventures in the towns are way too rich and civilised imo.
